About me

Hi, my name is Alek. I am in my mid-20's and live in Quebec with my fiancee and our many animals. I have a lifelong passion for music, fantasy, and roleplaying games. I started off playing loose fantasy roleplaying games with my siblings as a very young child, where we would live out stories inspired by our favourite fantasy heroes. I started playing D&D weekly in high school, and have been a player and dungeon master in a few different groups since. Currently, I run several weekly games online and in person. Running games excites me because it allows me to relive the feeling that those wondrous (imaginary) adventures of my youth inspired in me. I hope that I can share my joy with you!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be managed through Dndbeyond and imported over to foundryvtt. The majority of character creation can be done before session zero, but we will be establishing some backstory information together. Any players who need assistance with character creation will be gladly helped.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need at the very least a microphone, and an internet connection strong enough to run foundry. A knowledge of the rules is not necessary, anyone of any experience level is welcome to join. No physical dice or accessories needed

What Alek brings to the table

Players will be given access to my content sharing on DnDbeyond. The game will be held in a fully integrated VTT with custom battlemaps and premium tokens. Curated music is piped directly into discord, and can be muted on the player or end or adjusted according to need or preference. All characters are brought to life through voice acting and a solid understanding of their places in the world.

Safety

How Alek creates a safe table

As this is a horror campaign, we will establish a strong emphasis on use of the x card and spend time at session zero discussing no go themes.
