About the adventure
Aracos is a city of heroes, villains, and everyone trapped between them. It is your home, or at least it was before the bombs tore through its streets and left the city choking on smoke, grief, and suspicion. No one knew who caused the explosion. Fingers were pointed. Trials were held. Convenient people were blamed, and the city pretended justice had been served. But the real culprit is still out there, hiding behind the chaos they created. You lost someone in the blast. So did the others you have found. Together, you will follow the trail everyone else abandoned, expose the truth Aracos tried to bury, and confront whoever is responsible. The city failed the fallen. You will not.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I am a DM or GM, depending on the game, who loves eldritch horror, science fiction, and fantasy. I first started running games in 10th grade at age 15, when I became the leader of my high school’s TTRPG club. In college, I helped start and run a similar club as its primary GM. Even before that, I had been creating stories throughout my life, long before I had the opportunity to play with others who shared my interests. I lived in a middle-of-nowhere town where no one seemed interested in tabletop role-playing games. Now, I run seven games a week, using every tool in my repertoire to create the best experience possible and welcome new faces into the hobby. I can run many systems, including Dungeons & Dragons, Magpie Games systems, World of Darkness systems, Call of Cthulhu, Lancer, and more niche systems such as Mercenary Merlin’s and N5E. Given three days to prepare, I am comfortable learning nearly any system. I take pride in my craft, including maps, custom items, character voices, and attentive player care. I use safety tools, clear communication, and understanding to ensure everyone has a positive experience.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen during the first session, but it will be open for 1 hour before game time if you want to plan. Character creation will be in Foundry, which will be open 1 hour before the session. Allowed playbooks will be all core and Add-on playbooks. They will be available in Foundry through my account, or you can download them from the Magpie Games website
What to expect
Preparing for the session

What Phantom3422 brings to the table
What to expect in the game: ambient music, fully interactive maps, voices, art, simple character creation, combat through Foundry, interactive puzzles, the ability to have a character move through different campaigns, and, if wanted by all parties, the ability to record games and/or write a book to look back on. I use the rule of cool; as long as it benefits the players. I run heroic games, which means the party is heroic and can push through most adversity with teamwork and skill, as well as the political side with webs of deals, lies, and bribes. I am also very easy to contact through multiple methods. My running style fits the group I'm playing with.

How Phantom3422 creates a safe table
Breaks are at the top of every hour. I will provide a Lines and Veils document when you sign up. X, N, and O are private or public digital messages in Foundry. There will also be a Session 0; since it will include more-than-average content warnings, we'll have reflection time at the end of the session to go over everything that happened.
