About the adventure

For fans of the Avatar shows, comics, books and video games, for fans of young adult TTRPGs, for those who want to explore a beautifully crafted world of delicate balance and deep cultural roots, this campaign is for you. Long ago, the Four Nations lived in harmony - and everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Go back to the days before the Fire Nation began their 100 years war. Explore the world, uncover its secrets, and discover everything the Roku Era has to offer. Enter a world where the four elements move to the command of Bending Masters, where culture ties into personal principle, tying into your own control of your powers - once you find where your Balance lies. This game welcomes newcomers, whether it's to TTRPGs, the Avatar Legends system, or the world of Avatar in general.

About me

I believe TTRPGs should be available to all, and that complicated rules shouldn't bar entry for a cool and fascinating new game - I am to make things as easy as possible for new and old players alike. The table should be a fun, comfortable and engaging place for EVERYONE involved - which is why I also do not compromise on safety tools. I like discovering new ways to use a system, homebrewing if necessary, or using the rules as given in new ways to make sure even experienced players in a system have something new to grapple with. I'm also a big fan of misdirection...so don't believe everything you see. It's a poor storyteller that you can trust entirely.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done through a Session Zero; and finalized together in the first session of the campaign, using Roll20 character sheets.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will require a free Discord and free Roll20 account to play. No prior knowledge of the game is necessary before play, though the basic rules will be provided for those who sign up!

What Armaan brings to the table

As the GM, I provide knowledge of the game's rules, maps and artwork to enhance scenes players find themselves in. I provide guidance for the game's rules, and in shaping the story of the campaign as a whole.

How Armaan creates a safe table

A Session Zero will explore what players are interested in exploring, and what they wish to leave out. A Palatte Grid shall be constructed for players before the first game, tracking what topics create discomfort, boredom, and interest. The X-Card is always in play, and every game has a standard Open Door Policy.
