About the adventure
This short campaign follows the notorious titular dungeon crawl that is the Death House. Typically it is meant as an introduction to the Curse of Strahd module, but here it is a stand alone multi-shot. Join us as we play through the Death House and attempt to survive it. You begin as a level one character fresh to both Barovia and the Ravenloft setting. Barovia is no place for an unprepared hero, nevermind a group of green adventurers who were meant to be a day's travel out from Daggerford. The Death House will challenge your wits, your luck, and - worst of all - your sanity. The Death House is meant for players with some experience with D&D, but new players are welcome. But, be warned that there is a significant chance your character will perish.

Creating your character
Create a level one character using official D&D content only (clear any homebrew with me first). Send me a pdf of your character prior to session zero. It is advised to make at least one spare character. This is an unforgiving dungeon.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Ensure you are in the Archaeist Central Discord server (link to be sent upon securing a spot). Any relevant VTT links will be sent the day of the game. If you prepare your character far enough in advance, I can import your character's stats and portrait into the VTT as well.
What Ian brings to the table
I will be sharing music from Fantasy+. The session will be mostly rule of cool. If you can narrate it and make it make sense (and/or is funny enough) I will let the dice decide. If you need anything regarding the game, do not hesitate to message me.
Homebrew rules
Potions are a bonus action (full action can be used to gain maximum possible effect) Crit hits are double dice plus applicable bonuses.
