About the adventure

The hill, frost, and fire giants are united, and civilization is burning. From a fortified steading, a brutal hill giant chief commands raids that leave shattered settlements and terrified survivors in their wake. With local armies overwhelmed, only a band of legendary heroes can carry the fight into the giants’ own stronghold. Whether you fight for vengeance, glory, or those you’ve sworn to protect, one truth is clear: The hill giants must fall. AGAINST THE GIANTS This is the first part of a run through of the classic 1978 adventure module series, against the giants. Upon the destruction of the hill giants, the adventurers will move on to the Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl.

About me

My philosophy is simple: every player deserves a chance to shine. My ideal table is a group of creative people who bring their own play styles to the adventure. All I ask is that everyone respects their fellow players and remembers that we're here to have fun together. I believe the best game is collaborative. Together, we'll create an adventure that none of us could have imagined alone.

Safety

How DRG creates a safe table

I want everyone to feel like the game is a safe place to relax and have fun. To that end, I use the TTRPG Safety Toolkit so players, if uncomfortable with a scene, can let the group know anonymously by selecting X, N. When one of those appears, we'll handle it at that time. I also set boundaries at the start of the game, and include periodic breaks for movement and other biological needs. Finally, I don't tolerate PvP, theft from players, or other abusive behavior. We're here to have fun as a team working towards the common goal of looting the dungeon. The danger should to the game world, not fellow adventurers.
