About the adventure
Korvosa is a city threatening to collapse. Crime is rampant, the Korvosan guards are overwhelmed, and the ruling elite are corrupt and uncaring. Thriving in this city is the truly vile crimelord, Gaedren Lamm, a man who has personally wronged you, and whether you seek justice or vengeance, you know the only thing you can do to stop him once and for all is to take action into your own hands. But as your hunt for Lamm pulls you into the twisted web of conspiracy around the city, will you rise to become the hero Korvosa needs? The Curse Of The Crimson Throne is a campaign of urban political intrigue. Investigate the many plots and conspiracies that span the entire city of Korvosa. Find your family amongst your party, seek allies, and expect cunning and memorable villains as you delve into the chaotic streets, reach the gilded heights of Korvosa, and struggle to prevent the unravelling of the city-state.

About me
I’m a passionate tabletop roleplaying game GM who loves bringing immersive stories to life and creating welcoming tables for players of all experience levels. I’ve been involved in tabletop RPGs for about nine years now, both as a player and as a Game Master. During that time I’ve run a wide range of games, starting with 5e and Curse Of Strahd, before eventually moving to more homebrew stories and worlds (though that wasn't a huge jump for me after my players' catastrophic blunders in the second town of Barovia, I effectively had to rewrite the module from the ground up). I especially enjoy helping new players discover how fun and collaborative tabletop gaming can be, while also giving experienced players meaningful choices, memorable NPCs, and exciting challenges.

Creating your character
You will begin as level 2 PCs, with a serious grudge against local crimelord, Gaedren Lamm, a truly loathsome Fagin-type. Think about how Gaedren has impacted your life. Were you one Lamm's Lambs, his army of orphan pickpockets, forced to commit crimes for their abusive master? Did he abduct your own child and force them into a life of crime? Did he hurt a loved one or introduce a family member to the addictive substance known as shiver? Did you get framed for a crime he committed? Also think about your connection to the city of Korvosa, and why you would want to become the hero the city needs, not the one it necessarily deserves.
