About the adventure
A delivery job should be a straightforward way to earn some coin. Instead, you're following signs of trouble towards Phandalin, a frontier town where armed bullies have grown far too comfortable. People need help but deciding whom to trust takes more than asking who looks respectable. Somewhere beyond town lies a lost mine worth killing for. You have good reason to find it before the people hunting it do. ⚔️ Take on dangerous enemies, or look for a way around a fight 🗺️ Follow leads into the wilderness and explore the ruins beyond town 💬 Get to know the people of Phandalin, including whoever you probably shouldn't get attached to 📖 Bring your character's interests into the adventure through custom content I'm Eni, and I get excited about your characters and the posts you write. I enjoy digging into what matters to them and giving you reasons to care about the places you visit. Expect classic D&D adventure with room for humor, and an impact on how you want to see where it leads. We begin with Lost Mine of Phandelver at levels 1-5, then choose our next campaign together. Creating your character

So either the new Player's Handbook or the older one! == Characters == - Start at Level 1. - Use this array in any order: 18, 17, 15, 14, 11, 8. - All characters will receive one free background feat as per 2024 rules. - Start with 150 gold and starting equipment. - Start with one uncommon magic item, and one common magic item. - You may choose from all races, classes, backgrounds, and other PC options in any officially released D&D 5e product. (See below for custom/homebrew/third-party/unearthed arcana). == Homebrew (Custom) == In addition to the standard character creation rules, players are welcome to use third-party or homebrew (custom) content. Enigma only asks that you speak with him one-on-one about it. He will tweak it for the sake of balance and making the game fun and fair for all. He will also provide character ideas if needed and share a D&D Beyond compendium to aid in character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This is an asynchronous play-by-post game played by Discord with the Avrae bot. This means that posts will be made throughout the week; it's to the pace of the group. All playing will be done by text, making things accessible for those who aren't able to use voice. I will update at least daily. You will get to experience the story and the roleplay, while also learning about--or getting more experience with--play-by-post format and Avrae. You do not need to know Avrae, or any of the other tools. I can teach you. How Dreams & Eni creates a safe table
🏳️🌈♾️👨🏾🦲 This is a safe table for people of all types. Dreams is trans and queer, Enigma is LGBTQIA+, and we are both neurodivergent. We hope to make a place where all can feel accepted, regardless of race, gender, beliefs. 👨🏾🦲♾️🏳️🌈 Safety tools will always be in effect; this game is a safe and inclusive place. We will use safety cards, Monte-Cooke consent form, lines and veils, and any other safety tools the group needs. Both Enigma and Dreams are neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+, and seek to provide a safe table for all players. Accessibility is a big part of the game, and accommodations will be made to meet your needs so that you can have fun. The following will NOT be featured in our games: 🔷 Sexual Assault/Non-Consensual Sex 🔷 Exploitation of Minors 🔷 Explicit mature content [will always fade to black] 🔷 Real life imagery of sabotage/destruction [GIFs, Photos, and Videos] 🔷 Player-on-Player gaslighting, bullying, or negativity 🔷 Player-on-Player TRASHY [transphobia, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, yeetable] behavior This is a play-by-post campaign, meaning that players will post their actions and responses to the game thread whenever they have time.
