About the adventure
Or, at least, repair the broken lighthouse and save your community. Time Without Tide is a steampunk game that takes place in alternate Victorian time of apocalypse. Corrupting fog covers the land. The sun seems dim and the moon has fallen. Your characters are delvers that venture into the fog for fame, fortune, community spirit or lack of self-preservation. Time without Time has a simple dice pool system that I will teach during the session.

About me
Check out The Wives Anarchy https://www.twitch.tv/thewivesanarchy to see me run games like Candela Obscura. I'm here for collaborative storytelling and world-building. I aim to create a welcoming space for players to try new things, have fun and share our enthusiasm for RPGs. I'll lead your characters on a fulfilling journey and we'll spin a good yarn together. I love to introduce beginners to ttrpgs and new games. I try a lot of new games myself so I am very familiar with how it feels to learn something new. I hope I'm able to help my players delight in learning games. My background includes education and writing instructions. Helping people play games is a fun way to use that skill set. I've been organizing a TTRPG meetup for 7 years focused on creating a welcoming space for marginalized gamers. I helped guide the group to be open to all genders. Running the group really helps me to see how to create a supportive environment for marginalized people and how that environment supports the larger community. The biggest game I ever ran was a 20 person West Marches campaign. That game honed my communication and organization skills and certainly helped me to negotiate tricky situations between players. Making people feel welcome and comfortable in this amazing TTRPG space is my primary goal.

A Palette document will be linked in Prep Materials. This doc provides space for you to list topics you want to explore, topics you don't want to explore at all and topics you don't want to explore in detail. Each player should answers the questions by directly writing to the document. Don't edit or erase other players answers. The document autosaves.
