About the adventure
You will be playing locals or visitors to Icewind Dale who have met together during a scene of a murder. This will lead to to track down the murderer across the Ten Towns, and aid the locals of Ten Towns. Eventually, you might even be strong enough to slay or defeat Auril, Goddess of All that is Cold, and bring spring back. Expect combat, winter survival, political intrigue, horror, and mystery before the spring rains can come back to Icewind Dale. I am looking for players who are willing to dive deep into the Scandinavian like culture of Icewind Dale, be heroes, and wanting to play DnD 2024, All players are welcome, and I am always willing to bring new players in DnD 2024 This is a Dark Fantasy Cosmic Horror Campaign. Think Dark Souls in the Arctic.

Creating your character
Starting Level: 1 Classes: All classes are available including Bloodhunter and Scholar. I will post links to these two classes. Species: Any Species in the PHB 2024 or Mordenkainen Monsters of the Multiverse Backgrounds: Any in the PHB 2024 Subclasses: All Subclasses are available. If the Subclass starts a level below 3, it starts at Level 3. You have to use the newest subclass update. Playing a Sidekick from Tasha's Cauldron is also allowed. You may choose any non-humanoid monster from official books with CR 1/2 or below. I just have to okay it.

Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord and a Roll20 account. This game will have a Discord server for you to join.
What Safira brings to the table
My combats tend to be tactical and dangerous, but players are always free to escape, parley, etc. I used Ambient music frequently, and I prefer Rule of Cool.
Homebrew rules
Bloodhunter and Scholar are 3rd party classes that will be available. Bloodhunters are like Witchers from the Witcher series Scholars are a nonmagical Intelligence based class For Clerics, if they are using their God's favored weapon, they get +1 to Attack rolls For Ranger, use the UA Ranger. Beastmaster Rangers may choose any animal CR 1/2, and they gain levels just like a sidekick
