About the adventure
Session 0 of this campaign will be donated to the World Central Kitchen to help with their mission to feed those suffering in Palestine and beyond. You've been raised in the village of Oakenwall, a small community in a world where towns are pinpoints of light in a dark, primeval world where older forces than mankind rule unquestioned. Every ten years as the season turns to Autumn, the Spirits and the Wyld allow the hunting of the Aeon Beasts- massive and powerful combinations of the ethereal Spiritual Power and the tangible, solid power of the Wyld. And this year you are of age to participate. They say that more and more villages disappear each year, swallowed by the Wyld or spirited away, but if someone from Oakenwall can secure the heart of an Aeon Beast for the Decadencenial Feast before Winter, legends say the community will thrive and grow for another ten years, experiencing a decade long summer of prosperity. Last decade's hunt failed, the feast meager, and the village is on the edge of survival. You, with bow or blade or book of spells, will stand as a champion of Oakenwall, intent on not only protecting the light of civilization in this ancient world, but allowing it to grow. And little do you know that this generation's Feast will herald even greater change than any before it- a change shaped by you, if you'll rise to the challenge.

About me
As a neurodivergent person living with a disability, I value the space for creativity and expression that roleplaying games allow for, and I want to give the chance to experience it to everyone. I pride myself on running an inclusive table, and I am a firm believer that neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and minority voices enrich the experience for everyone. I've been GM-ing role playing games as long as I've been playing them, going back all the way to ye olde 3.5e days when I was the first in my group to read the Dungeon Master's Guide. Two decades later and this forever DM is ready to share that experience with the world. I've earned my stripes in everything from White Wolf's Storyteller system to several editions and renditions of the DnD formula to the fast and dirty combat of the Shadowrun universe. Multiple campaigns have run to high levels under my stewardship, so you know when you book with me that I'm in it for the long haul. My email and discord accounts are responsive and checked daily, and I'm always excited to plan character progression, work on background inclusion, or talk mechanics whether you're brand new to the system or an experienced hand. Proudly generative AI free, and proud of SP.G, myself, and my community of patrons for donating over $2000 dollars to charities for the disenfranchised, for victims, and to provide better tomorrows for a diverse range of people! To help pump that number up, all Session 0 games, for as long as it can be afforded, will be donated to the World Central Kitchen in their mission to bring food to the people who need it most 🍉 .
