About the adventure

In Eberron, when people misplace something, or forget what they were going to say, they blame the Forgotten Prince for stealing it. The Prince usually doesn't give back what he has stolen, but he is willing to make an exception with you, if you can rescue his beloved Ophelia. She is trapped in the land of fairytales, or rather her own fairytale called Prismeer. The Prince has instructed you to visit the Witchlight Carnival, where he says you will find a way into Prismeer. But you are not alone on this adventure, there are others who the Prince has stolen from. You met your party in a dream in which the Prince appeared to you when he made his offer to you all. You are to meet at the Witchlight Carnival and embark on this journey together. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This adventure is a modified version of "The Wild beyond the Witchlight" module, adapted to fit into Eberron setting. The tone of the adventure is a healthy mix between whimsical and dark. No prior experience with the game is necessary, if this is your first time playing DnD, let me know and I will be glad to help you learn the game. There will be a free session 0 where we will talk about the campaign in more detail, set our expectations, get to know each other and create characters.

About me

Alignment: True Neutral (NN) Personality Trait: I'm cheerful, polite and respectful, in other words, I'm very easy to talk to. I give 100% into everything I do, and 120% into things I like to do. I'm patient, and I'm a good listener (or so my friends tell me). I'm confident in my ability to run a campaign you would enjoy playing in. Ideal: I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for fun with friends for years, I still do. It is my dream to have this beautiful game become my way of life. Bond: Nothing is more important to me than the experience of the players at my table. I will take extra care to ensure everyone is having fun at my table (me included :D). Flaw: I'm a bit forgetful, so it is important you ask a lot of questions when playing in my games. English is not my first language, and while I'm at C1 level (advanced), I still find myself forgetting words from time to time. About my games: I will be running campaigns set in the world of Eberron. The system I'll be using is Dungeons and Dragons 5.5 or One or 2024, however you like to call it.

Character creation

Creating your character

For stats we'll be using Point Buy system: https://chicken-dinner.com/5e/5e-point-buy.html We will be using roll20 to play and make characters. It is free to register and you don't need to purchase any content, we will manually create and set-up everything you need for your character. Remember to pick the 2024 Character Sheet. I have created a Campaign Primer to help you out with character creation. In there, you will find useful information about the campaign and the setting we'll be playing in. You will also find suggestions on which Class, Species, and Background fits best with this campaign. This is not a limitation, only suggestion. You will receive the Primer once you join the game. You will be expected to create your character before session 0. Of course, I will be there to help you out. Then on Session 0 we will create connections between your character and the characters of your party members.

What Wishmaster brings to the table

I try to balance the Rules as Written with the Rule of Cool to make for memorable moments, tension, and high stakes. At the table, I do use ambient music in the game. I also try to use voices, but I can't claim to be the best at them; it's a way to have fun! I will also make sure that players have access to any necessary materials to make sure they are prepared to play.

How Wishmaster creates a safe table

My top priority is that everyone has a fun and comfortable time at my table. Session 0 Here we’ll discuss tone, boundaries, character concepts, and expectations. This is where we establish what everyone is comfortable with and ensure the game is enjoyable for all. Open Door Policy You are always free to step away at any time, for any reason—no questions asked. Your well-being comes first. Ongoing Communication If anything ever feels off, you can message me privately at any time. I aim to create a table where players feel heard, respected, and safe to fully engage with the story.
