About the adventure
In Acts of Faith you play as a member of a deity's faith traveling to establish a new church in a growing town. You'll gain followers, grow your congregation, enact holy rituals, fight against enemies of your faith, and carry out your deity's will. The deity will be chosen by all players in Session Zero. The challenges, allies, enemies, and more will be tailored to fit the deity chosen. A pantheon of deities with overlapping interests can also be selected. Universal elements of building a church will include the Leadership subsystem, rituals, and more. The adventure will focus primarily on one town and the surrounding area, but further travel can happen. While this may seem like an "Oops! All Clerics!" adventure, any class can be made to fit in with any deity (though clerics are especially good fits). Session Zero is free! I will never use AI in my games and I encourage you to do the same.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Maryland-based game master who likes a good balance of combat, puzzles, social play, and more. Game mastering since 2010, including a paid freelance position at Gamers Corps. Mostly running Pathfinder 2e but occasionally Pathfinder 1e, World of Darkness, Fate Core System, and others. Wrote the Spark of Genius RPG, if you're into near-future sci-fi. I primarily run on Roll20 but I'm learning Foundry VTT. I will NEVER use AI in games.

Creating your character
Characters will be made during Session Zero. It's a good idea to choose our deity first, then start building characters. That being said, coming up with a few different character ideas in advance is welcome. Free Archetype will be used. The Exemplar class and multiclass archetype are allowed. What to expect
Preparing for the session
Join the Discord server, join the Roll20 game, and think about which deities in the Lost Omens setting appeal to you. Information on the deities can be find on the Archives of Nethys and the PathfinderWiki.
What Tommy Z brings to the table
Roll20, maps, tokens, music, and a Discord server.
Homebrew rules
Spending a Hero Point gets you the better of your two dice rolls. Counterspelling doesn't require the exact same spell (there's a counteract check and your spell choice will influence this).
