About the adventure
The frontier town of Phandalin is caught in a deadly vice. A ruthless gang terrorizes the locals. Goblins raid the Triboar trail. Orcs ravage the forest in search of a mysterious power source. And a dragon hunts the skies for its next meal. I’ve blended the Dragon of Icespire Peak and Lost Mines of Phandelver modules to create a more thorough and fulfilling introduction to the world of D&D. Combining the modules creates a more complex web of choices that allows you more flexibility in how you carve your path in the world. Whether you are a new player trying D&D for the first time or an experienced player testing out weird builds and tactics, I’m committed to making sure the campaign has something for everyone. Players who want their backstories woven into the campaign can work with me before the game starts to make sure player, group and campaign are all aligned for maximum immersion and fun. The rules are there for a reason; sometimes that reason is to chuck them to the side and have fun. *Adventure Path* Lost Mines of Phandelver + Dragon of Icespire Peak -> Storm Lords Wrath -> Sleeping Dragons Wake -> Divine Contention will take us from Level 1 to Level 12.

About me
Hi Im the Nameless Dm! Ive been dungeon mastering for a few years now and enjoy teaching new players how to play via premade adventure books as well as creating more immersive over arching story arcs for more seasoned players.

Creating your character
To start the game all players will be level 1 and will be allowed to pick species and classes from all the handbooks. No homebrew for species and classes/subclasses for the time being. Characteers can be created using either a site like dndbeyond or you can go the paper route. For backstories come to me with your initial ideas and we can change some of the module story elements to fit or add some stuff for maximum fun. Stats will be rolled in roll20, take the best of two and if youre still not happy with the outcome do point buy (I can explain more once we get rolling)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Join the Discord and Roll20 links that are posted, have the beyond20 extension for your browser. A DNDBeyond account would be helpful so I can keep track of your features and traits.
What Nameless brings to the table
I embrace roleplay and love to do all the voices I can manage for each session, combat and more intense roleplay will have music involved. Be prepared to meet consequences for your actions. The rules are there for a reason, and sometimes that reason is to toss them aside and do cool stuff.
Homebrew rules
Flanking is in if the PCs want it to be in effect. Drinking potions on a bonus action you roll for the healing, if you use an action you get max. Reroll 1s when you roll hit points at level up. Im Im open to other homebrew rules as long as everyone is into them.

How Nameless creates a safe table
In session Zero we will go over a ttrpg consent checklist as a group and fill them out together so I know what elements in the module to cut and as a group we know what elements to avoid. If any issue that happens in the moment that wasnt part of the checklist I encourage you to speak up right away either vocally or in a dm or pinged message. I would rather I flounder for a minute than ruin your whole night.
