About the adventure

The Galactic Empire is not popular here. They can be a bit of a pain. Their regulations can feel stifling. Their rule can feel somehow distant and omnipresent. But most people would agree that we are all better off with them around. They keep the peace. The trade ships run on time. They keep crime under control. But there are terrorists attacking the Empire. They claim the laws are too harsh. They claim the taxes are unjust. But they are the ones blowing up the supply depots. They are the ones causing havoc in the space lanes. The people don’t suffer under imperial rule, they suffer from trouble caused by these “rebels”. Except, the past few days there is a strange silence coming from the Core. Word is that something has happened. Something big. Rumors are running wild, and it’s impossible to verify anything as true or untrue. What is clear is what’s happening locally. Long docile planetary rulers are assembling armies. Criminals are getting bolder. Everyone is saying that the Empire is losing its grip. One thing is for sure: things are going to get worse before they get better. What are you willing to do to protect the people you care about? LGBTQ+ Friendly This will be a high adventure campaign set in a version of the Star Wars universe, immediately after the events of Return of the Jedi. We'll be using the Savage Worlds system. This is a beginner friendly campaign, and no prior knowledge of Star Wars or Savage Worlds is necessary to play. This is a long-term campaign designed to be played over many months. A note on canon: We are not sticking to the official lore. We are going to be developing our own little AU here. So while it's still largely Star Wars, don't expect to run into Darth Vader. We're going to be examining a small, completely made up, corner of the galaxy.

About me

Hello, Adventurer. I have been GMing games for about 30 years. I feel like I provide a great play experience, and I'd like to share that with people outside my circle of friends. I like to run dynamic worlds that respond believably to players' actions. I also like to create compelling hooks and mysteries to draw players into exciting situations. I enjoy playing enemies you love to hate, that feel satisfying to defeat. I look forward to meeting you. Cheers, GM Ken

Character creation

Creating your character

We will work on characters during Session 0, and you will have time after that to work on them before we start.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need to join the campaign discord, and make sure you are able to use Foundry. I can help you get that figured out.

What GM Ken brings to the table

This will be a roleplay focused campaign. Combat will be quick and dangerous (and probably dramatic) when it happens. There will be a lot of mysteries and problems to get into, and I will be incorporating elements of your character into what is going on. What you choose in the campaign will matter, for your character and the world. We will be using Foundry for character sheets, dice rolls, and I will be using Czepeku scenes whenever appropriate.

Homebrew rules

We will be using a dice pool rule variant similar to Blades in the Dark's dice system.

How GM Ken creates a safe table

We will establish Lines and Veils during Session 0, and we will be using the X Card. I want my players to feel comfortable in my games.
