About the adventure
Stonetop is a RPG where your character has deep ties with their community. They explore the dangerous world around them with the hope of briging back something of value for their people. Each expediton has the potential of expanding the village of Stonetop and making it thrive and giving the players not only a character to take care of but a whole community. This is a world where story takes the front seat. Together players must weave a tapestry around Stonetop bringing it to life with lore. A multitude of questions will come up during play and lead the players through story. Stonetop is set in a universe akin to the bronze age with little magic but with plenty of mystery. Who were the Makers? Why did the forest people leave? What is in the Labyrith? I am myself new to the game and I am looking for players who are curious about this awesome new game.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I was 14 years old when I played D&D for the first time. It was a school group with a nerdy teacher who opened his class during lunch time so like minded folks could meet. I started as a human cleric in a 3.5 setting. I will always remember my first game. Fast forward to college I got to meet incredible friends and amazing players. We had a blast with the 4th edition. I experienced my first homebrew world where I played a Longtooth Shifter cleric. What a tank she was. Then I played a druid hamadryad in Dark Sun. Unfortunately, we never got to finish the campaign, like so many others! How many loved character sheets are abandonned in my keepsake box? Way too many... Getting nostalgic now! Then came the 5th edition. A breath of fresh air. For me, it was a return to my roots. Steamlined, clear, less technical. I love love love it. I am currently a DM in a homebrew campaign. I have great players who come every week. It's awesome, but I need more. It's like an addiction. A beautiful one.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will send you the player handbook but otherwise nothing else. You need a working microphone. Video is optional. We will be using Foundry for the game itself.
What Myriam brings to the table
We will be playing Rule as Written as this is the first time I will be running the game. We will decide together to homebrew rules we do not like.
Homebrew rules
No homebrew rules besides the one we will be deciding together at the table as we play.

How Myriam creates a safe table
I have an open door policy and do a debriefing after each games. If, for any reason, a player does not feel comfortable addressing an issue during debrief, they can always contact me at any time. I expect players to be able address issues like adults and I am certain we can always find compromise and a way to settle issues. I always send a Consent checklist before starting a new game so I am aware of triggers, and this can be revised at any time, obviously. I just want everyone to feel comfortable and have a good time!
