About the adventure
Seven Desert Wonders Many heard elders of long-lived races telling but very recent stories. "The World Is New." It would always be their explanation. But is that really true? The world's beginning in all history and stories starts with Sol. The Emperor, who had taken the throne to rule all of the Equanox after the world was created. But what was Before Sol? That age has been called The Lost Era, and those who find pieces hidden in this said new world know the world is far more ancient. Yet, why is there no recording within history? Why does not a single long-lived race know it? And why Sol's presence is still scattered through it? You, as players, would follow the path that was, find clues of what was repeated, and never learned while forging your own story within the dying world. And maybe someday it can be saved. Equanox: the world, which is made of seven deserts, has been rotting away, and black sand has always been spotted within the rot and decay... The journey starts in the lands of Equanox: These lands are barren and vast; not many venture further than they need to. No one would want to pay the price for traveling in the immense heat of the deserts unless they are truly prepared for it. Forests, vast fields of grass, and water are rare and always fought over. Yet people here found peace in their own cities, or so it seemed. In Equanox, they call them cities, but they are as large as kingdoms to sustain the people living within the protective walls and barriers made of magic. Magic is treasured; it is also as rare, and any city that is able to obtain a powerful magic user is a lucky one. After all, only because of this magic are they able to comfortably live away from the never-ending heat. Where no night comes, and people live from Dusk to Dawn with daylight never fading. As there is only the sun in the sky, no stars, no moon. And many don't know that there could be more to it. In Equanox, there are seven Deserts: Auri Desert Oreen Desert Myrth Desert Sall Desert Dunes of Daron Null or Rocky Desert Raft Desert Now, will a party of great adventurers form within this difficult land that will soon become even more treacherous and save it from its own end? Or will time pass till all becomes ruin in the past? ---- A game for all experienced players! We would start at level one to get a feel for your character and slowly climb up while getting to know the abilities that come with leveling up and new things that you could learn throughout the campaign, like certain homebrew subclasses from NPCs or a sudden offer to multiclass. Every encounter would give a new choice for your character for those with experience. There will always be something for everyone in this sandbox campaign.

About me
Hello! My name is Cass. I am a Game Master with a strong focus on immersive, roleplay-heavy storytelling. I have been developing my homebrew world for approximately 8 years and actively running games within it for the past 3 years, including one-shots, trial sessions, and long-running campaigns. My GM style emphasizes deep narrative engagement: richly detailed settings, meaningful integration of player backstories, layered plot twists, and lore that unfolds naturally through play. If you are looking for serious storytelling, strong roleplay, and a world that responds to your characters’ choices, my campaigns are designed with you in mind.

Creating your character
Character creation happens throughout the 2 weeks before session 1. We will begin with a base idea and will go through it together, no matter the experience. Your ideas and meaningful story moments will be important in the future sessions, so going through them step by step is important. There is some homebrew here, and some races are not allowed as the world has rules, so all will be explained with the said ideas.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Hello there! To start us off, you can look more into the world! Once you join, I will send over my Discord and will invite you to the group with more information and links. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y0OBRc3mSUsyqUy4G84Cgq1Vvlgz9Er1eHK9H4ehuYY/edit?tab=t.0
What Cass Curser brings to the table
I have been working on this world for about 8 years, I have tested it out for one-shots and long-running campaigns. This world is a long-term campaign for about 7 to 8 years. If we count only the desert side, which you have been introduced to here, it would take 2 to 4 years, but yes, there is another side too. I as a dm provide deep storytelling and roleplay-heavy campaigns I add voice actors for important NPCs and special occasion music. I always add this world's lore as the base to even races and classes to make it seem real. My goal after every session is not only everyone's enjoyment of the game but also to leave a lingering thought "What will happen next?" But also fun moments where you can just enjoy the moment.
Homebrew rules
RULES This world is alive - I do want to give a warning that, you shouldn't expect the world to be on par with your levels. Sometimes as lower levels, you can stumble in deadly situations that you are not able to handle and sometimes you as strong characters, will stumble in a very easy situation., We will be using milestone, Dice rolls - So far this wasn't a problem but it would be great if, before rolling your dice I would also know what you are rolling for. Dice rolls against one another - It is allowed if both players, or more players, are on the same page and agree to settle a character argument or differences in their respective views. COMBAT Flanking - If the creature or humanoid is either medium or large you can flank it., Potions in combat - It requires a bonus action and it heals according to the rolls made. INSPIRATION Engaging in a surprising and well-executed roleplay will earn an inspiration of 1d6, For wonderful plans and their executions, you will gain an inspiration of advantage, Inspirations don't stack but the advantage will be able to be added together with the dice inspiration, Note-taking and their throughout-ness will be rewarded with a 1d6 inspiration EXTRA INFORMATION Sometimes your characters will encounter what is important to them, and they will want to talk about it. Or give time to something and you might be left a bit on the sidelines. But I hope you will understand that and that you all might have something similar to it. So I will ask for your patience.,, We all have topics we sometimes don't want to partake in. If it really bothers you, your character can say they are uncomfortable and step out of that conversation or situation if it is possible to step out. Later on, we will update you on what happened and inform you when you can return to it., This world can be cruel. Do tell me what topics you are truly uncomfortable with. As this world can include gore, slavery, or how one views another race, the really bad stuff will be but mentions, it's not gonna be shown and also have an old-fashioned view on things. So I hope you understand that this is not to attack you this is to make the world a little bit realistic as there are all kinds of people, we might even get into some mature themes.
