TLDR Elden Ring meets Skyrim in a Norse dark-fantasy sandbox. Rise from the ashes of a shattered mercenary company to burn a false king's war machine to the ground. Ideal for players who enjoy Norse-fantasy, warband politics, dragon allies, and bloody vengeance. THE WORLD The gods warred until none were left standing, and their fall shattered the Realms. Jarls carve up what's left while a self-proclaimed King binds dragons to his will with relics forged from dead gods' bones. Thirteen years of civil war later, the land is soaked in blood and ash. You were once part of the most feared mercenary company in Midgard and helped the King ascend to his throne, until the King's agents hunted down and destroyed you. A dragon saved what was left, and you swore the Ashen Pact in return: her powers for your vengeance. The most recent target is a King desperate to bring the shining city into his dominion and recover someone within it who is said to know the location of a reclusive dragon the King covets.
