Hexhaven draws the brightest students from every corner of the world to master the magical arts. As first-year students, you arrive seeking knowledge, power, friendship, and perhaps a future worthy of legend. You'll attend classes, join clubs, forge rivalries, participate in magical duels, and uncover mysteries hidden beneath the university's foundations. But student life is only the beginning. Strange magical disturbances have begun appearing across campus. Forbidden artifacts are resurfacing. Secret societies whisper of a forgotten truth buried deep beneath Hexhaven, and something ancient is beginning to awaken. The choices you make who you trust, what secrets you uncover, and what kind of mage you become will determine the future of the university and perhaps the fate of magic itself. ------------------- This is an asynchronous Play-by-Post campaign hosted through Discord. The strength of Play-by-Post is flexibility. Whether you're balancing work, studies, family, or simply living in a different time zone, you'll be able to participate whenever your schedule allows. Players contribute to the story at their own pace, creating deeper character interactions, richer roleplay opportunities, and more thoughtful storytelling than traditional live sessions often allow. As your Dungeon Master, I commit to posting multiple times per day throughout the week and maintaining an active, living world. Players are encouraged to post at least 2-3 times per day whenever possible, though real life always comes first.

Small details often become important later, and attentive players will frequently be rewarded. ⚔️ Tactical & Meaningful Combat Combat encounters are designed to challenge players both mechanically and narratively. Expect a balance between strategic decision-making and cinematic moments. 🏰 Living Campus Environment Hexhaven is a living world filled with students, professors, organizations, clubs, rivals, and evolving events. The university continues moving whether you're in class, exploring, or investigating mysteries. 🗺️ Custom Maps, Handouts & Visual Aids Custom maps, campus locations, NPC portraits, event posters, magical documents, and other visual aids will help bring the world to life. 🎲 Rule of Cool Philosophy Creative ideas are encouraged. If something is exciting, dramatic, and fits the story, I'm generally willing to work with players to make it happen.
