About the adventure
During the course of the adventure the characters advance from 1st to possibly 13th level (or beyond) journeying through at first the brightest city's streets, following up with the biggest criminal metropolis, then venture even to the Nine Hells itself, with the goal to uncover secret plots, mysteries and maybe to try saving a piece of the known world. While hoping that their own darkness will not consume them... A heroic adventure through corruption and anger, facing not just the inside demons, but the very real outside ones as well. A dark web of intrigue that needs to be untangled, and a journey through both urban enviroments and chaotic infernal wastelands where only the strongest survives. (Depending on preference) You will face moral dilemmas, or just smash through hordes of enemies and to fight the darkness you must become the light. Still even in the most serious moments there might be the craziest silly moments like being chased by a demonic chicken swarm...

About me
Hello there, I am Dave a GM for more than a decade doing professional games on Roll20 since 2018, having more than 10 thousand hours in it, but still with the same passionate fire that is burning from the very start. While I adore many rpg settings, I am always drawn back to the "medieval fantasy" ones and such mainly focusing on D&D with its current 5 edition. My strong suits include that I am the kind of GM who gets annoyed by his own mistakes and continously tries to evolve to make it a better game for both my players and myself. While one of my weakpoint is voice acting, which though sometimes I try it is a forever lacking department. I live in Hungary and such as I am in the CEST timezone, but due to focusing only on this as my work and hobby, I might host games at times based on more of my players' need.

Creating your character
Characters start the adventure at Level 1. They will be created before the game would even start (through Discord) via DnDBeyond where I share all needed sourcebooks for their creation. Those who dislike DnDbeyond there will be also options on Roll20. If you have little or no experience playing D&D online, don't worry. I will help you prepare before the start and also provide ongoing assistance as you progress. We will have a Session 0 where we discuss some basics and start to taste-test our characters. This session will be Free of Charge.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This is an only voice game, so a working headset/mic is absolutely necessary with a calm background. You also required to have an account for Discord, Roll20, DnDBeyond for the obvius reasons. Once we finished character creation, nothing more is necessary except for enthusiastic attidute. :)
What Nethersall brings to the table
The digital support that makes the game work, including all the books and material that the adventure will require. My games have ambient music playing in the background, artworks for narrative scenes and my best attemps at distinct non-player characters. I bring the heat to the table - more than the hellish wastelands ever could - at important battles, giving a real challenge to those who seek combat, but lay back to quietly giggle when my players bring their own character drama to the table. My favorite aspect of ttrpg is the conversations between characters and such I always try to make sure to have plenty of opportunities for my players to express themselves.
Homebrew rules
I will mix the 5.5 (2024) and the 5e (2014) editions in a way to make sure that every player has their desired character building options in a balanced manner. - After discussion I am open to homebrew suggestions, but often try to suggest and look for actually already existing things that could fit into the Player concept and desires, instead of adding a completely new thing. - I myself tend to make/change/alter monsters to make certain scenarios more interesting or plainly challenging or to match intended moods. - I have a set of homebrew rules that mainly focus on clarifications or enchancing player character options. These will be listed prior and can be opposed before we would get started.

How Nethersall creates a safe table
Other than the general approaches, I also present a consent checklist at the start of the campaign where there are many potential issues listed and we discuss if anything else needs to be added to be avoided. After heavier sessions we might debrief events and actions to make sure everything is still fine.
