About the adventure
“Hell is empty and all the devils are here.” -William Shakespeare, The Tempest Humanity clings to a comfortable illusion that the world H belongs to mankind, that they lead lives of free-willed individuality, completely unaware that they occupy a world of grim mysteries inhabited by monsters. Those savvy to the secrets of the "World of Darkness" know the truth, however: that timeless blood-drinkers, ravening shapeshifters, restless ghosts, and even more harrowing things haunt the night. Hunters are among those who have seen past the veil of secrecy and know the world for what it is - a bauble in the claws of monsters. Hunters fight back against the threat because they have glimpsed the truth and resolved to do something about it.

About me
My name is Zachary Russell, and I've been a Game Master for nearly a decade. I bring a high level of production value and immersive atmosphere to every game I run. As a GM, I prioritize crafting personal, character-driven stories with my players and fully immersing them in the worlds they explore. I pride myself on being system agnostic regardless of the setting or mechanics, I can make almost any game shine. As an actor, I've trained in a variety of character-building exercises that help bring characters to life, even when starting with very little. I combine that training with my improvisational experience to guide new players through character creation, helping them build characters they'll remember for years to come. *What I Bring to the Table:* * Experience running every published D&D 5e module. * Strong improvisation skills and the ability to homebrew on the fly. * Extensive experience with Foundry VTT, including curated macros, automation, and visual enhancements. * A welcoming, easygoing approach that makes it simple and fun for new players to learn the game. * I will 100% make a Spotify playlist for your character. I look forward to crafting a world we can lose ourselves in together.

Creating your character
Character Creation will be done in a free session Zero where I outline the game, sensitive content and introduce the World of Darkness to new players.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should come ready with a discord account. Prior experience playing on Foundry VTT will help with Character sheet organization/editing but its not something you cant learn on the fly.
What Zachary brings to the table
In all of my games I provide: - A wide cast of characters to interact with. - Curated in-game ambient music and playlists. (After the session zero, I'll even send each player a custom Spotify playlist for their character!) - An in game "Evidence Board" that players always have quick access to while in the Foundry server.
Homebrew rules
WoD V5 is quite lax on rules. Bring an open mind that's ready to think outside the box.

Safety
How Zachary creates a safe table
In my Session Zero, I will go over the sensitive content included in the adventure and explain to the players my open-door policy. If players wish to pause at any time, they can. I will also go over the wider World of Darkness. While not explicitly related to safety, I believe players need a sense of comfort and understanding of the setting so that elements do not sneak up on them later. As such, I will also explain how and why WoD V5 monsters are clearly meant to be mirror images of human atrocity, which is itself a core theme of Hunter: The Reckoning.
