Senator Sputnick, is frustrated about his alliance with the United Web of Lies. His loyality is fragile. Perhaps a promise of amesty and lots of gold pieces, could make him turn his back on them... A diplomatic event will be held at the Fairmount Castle in the Rocky Mountain ridge. Our insider Fareed Zakaria, will add us on the guest list and smuggle your gear : please pvovide your alias name. Bring your finest clothes...We must meet this Senator Sputnik and persuade him to breaks ties with the United web of lies. Assemble a team of resourcefull " negotiators". About me
I have been Dungeon master since the red box...I have played, D&D basics, 2nd edition, 3rd edition, Pathfinder...Sorry i skiped the 4th edition... I am new to Online play, but more than ready. I have invested more than 500 hrs in mastering Foudry VTT. I need players to get on board for a quite a ride. So far, i have completed 3 campains using Foundry vtt. I want my D&D to be challenging, entertaining and adult. I also insist on providing storytelling that is faithful, consistent with lore, rules, and world that came from the minds of multiples creators. Forgotten Realm is my playground, i am willing to play any campaign in this world. My DMing style : i love both great combat and roleplay. I think fantasy is about swords clashing and great villains. Were now being inspired by Game of throne more than Lord of The Ring. I take pride in organizing exciting encounters, using terrain features, and lighting. But also try to provide player with opportunities to use the full range of their character skills. I think the 5th edition shines because of the action system, and the magic mechanics which is efficient expansive...simply better. Finally, i also have been affected by the Mercer effect: I don’t claim getting close to his skill level, no one can, but he certainly is my inspiration. I have capacity to bring theatrical performance, if you are looking for more than just dungeon crawl. I know some of you of read «experienced DM» with scepticism, but i can guarantee you...you will feel to full extent of it. I am searching players for campains and on shots. Creating your character
This game use level 4 pre-generated characters, inspired from real Canadian personalities : one for for each D&D2024 class. The choice of character will be made according to enlisting order. (first to jump in the one-shot gets first choice) The adventure is built around those those characters. Any request about using customized characters will be denied : no exceptions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a good microphone. Camera is strongly recommended to make it a real social event. Basic knowledge about D&D is expected. This is not a Rookie game. For sake of simplicity, and story telling, the game will be using pre-generated characters [none-negotiable]. This Utube player's guide, will teach you how to use Foundry VTT https://youtu.be/l2iRZ42fcJ0 Looking at tutorials to learns the basics of Founrdy VTT is highly recommended. The access to training romm will be offered hours before the session for you to play with menus. Finally, you will receive my Discords info upon signing on the adventure.

Expect a classic fantasy D&D2024 adventure but...This adventure is very much inspired by the political tensions between Canada and the United States...Places, names and public personalities will be changed but are easily recognized. The story has strong and resolute bias: Canadians are the heroes and USA is the evil foreign Nation. Expect action, diplomacy, violence, treason. To be clear, this one-shot throws many derivative/offensive jokes about the current USA administration. If you truly are satisfied of Trump's policies, THIS GAME IS NOT FOR YOU. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PLAYERS -No criticizing other players actions. Suggestion can be made if the active player has clearly requested help. -No action of any sort against another player. No Skill use, no attacks, no scheming. Likewise, no creative passive-aggression against players. -Canadians Heroes are Good and righteous . Cooperative play is mandatory. -No violent, homophobic, sexist, racists comments will be allowed.
