About the adventure

Prepare for a planet-hopping, lightspeed-skipping journey from the edges of the Outer Rim! Using your wits and technical know-how, it will be up to you to determine just what happened to cause you to wake up in the middle of nowhere at the edge of space, and, more importantly, what route will you take to get back home. Depending on your character's motivations, you can try to discern the mystery of the artifact you delivered, make new alliances along the way, or even fight to restore order to the Galaxy. This campaign is intended for all ages and levels of players. It is considered a pointcrawl sandbox; there is a destination you are trying to reach, but how you get there and the route you take is entirely up to you. In this way, you'll learn about and visit some of the less explored regions of the Star Wars Galaxy, while encountering a few recognizable faces along the way! There will be quite a bit of action and interesting planetary encounters on the path. It's my intention to keep as close to the spirit of Star Wars as I can. There will be action, adventure, comedy, drama, and tragedy, everything the best of the saga requires. Whether Jedi or smuggler, your characters will have the entire Star Wars Galaxy to explore!

About me

I’ve been a Game Master for 7 years on Roll20, AlchemyRPG, as well as in-person. It is my absolute favorite thing to do in this world. My goal is to create an unforgettable experience that we can carry into our real lives. I am also actively working towards accreditation using the Game to Grow method, which explores therapeutic applications to TTRPGs. The characters we make tell the story of who we are. Through collaborative storytelling, we make each other braver, wiser, and, ultimately, kinder. I truly believe that TTRPG can be a powerful tool to help heal wounds. I would like to spread that belief as far and wide as I can. More than anything, I hope you'll allow me to work with you to tell an unforgettable story that will be remembered for years to come. 💗

Character creation

Creating your character

We will have a free session 0 for character creation, as Saga Edition can be a bit overwhelming. The starting level should be 3 to give you a little versatility in your available skills. I would prefer sticking to the Core Rulebook for Saga Edition but am completely open to your ideas on what items and knowledge your character has.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

This adventure will be run on Roll20. Whether we use the built-in site audio or create a Discord server will be up to your preference. Most information regarding this game system can be found on the Star Wars Saga Edition Wiki. (https://swse.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Saga_Edition_Wikia)

What Travis brings to the table

I'll be doing character voices, using Star Wars-specific music and audio effects, creating interesting role-playing opportunities, unique locations, and enhancing the lore of the Galaxy. I tend to stick to RAW as a foundation but am completely open to player ideas. As long as it doesn't break the world or disrespect your fellow players, then go for it! This will be a true Star Wars adventure in every sense of the phrase.

How Travis creates a safe table

Firstly, you'll receive a survey link in order to familiarize yourself and the type of character you intend on playing. In that survey, you'll be given the opportunity to share with me your boundaries and the best way for me to ensure your continued comfort in the ongoing campaign. Once completed, we'll have an extended, free session zero, where rules will be reviewed and characters finalized. If, at any point, you feel unsafe, we can pause the game and have an open or private discussion, whichever you are comfortable with. "Problem players" will have a private counseling session out of game, where we will determine how best to proceed.
