About the adventure
The Culling is set in the modern nights of New York City. A mysterious killer is eliminating kindred one by one no matter the clan across the 5 boroughs. Journey across the city investigating clues, interrogating suspects, and compiling evidence to figure out the hunter behind the executions. Some kindred believe it is the work of a rival clan, others believe it may be a mission given out by any one of the many enemies of the creatures of the night. Some suspect the camarilla of some plot to stifle rebellion. Whoever the culprit is, it's up to you and your coterie to track them down and put an end to their existence. Find the perpetrator before they come for you or your loved ones.

About me
Hey there! My name is Octavius and I have been creating stories for almost 10 years! Ever since middle school I have been bringing my friends together to explore fantastical worlds and roleplay passionate scenes. My goal every session is to help tell YOUR character's story and to provide a space where everyone is invested and feels safe enough to express their own creativity and ideas. I love teaching new players and challenging veteran players both. Whether you've been playing since the 80s or you're a first-timer, I believe that every player brings something unique to the table. I believe that character is at the center of every story regardless of the setting or genre. The choices you make and more importantly the consequences both good and bad are the key to unveiling the narrative being told. Whether it be high fantasy adventure, a grimdark dystopian trial of survival, a gritty cyberpunk struggle to become a legend, a low magic scheme to take the throne, a modern day supernatural mystery, or a futuristic space opera, I love to collaborate with my players to create a story you'll never stop thinking about.

Creating your character
Characters can be long-term residents of New York or fresh newcomers to the city as long as they have a strong reason to stay in the city. Characters may be anything from soon-to-be-turned mortals to 200 year old ancilla. Connections to the camarilla are encouraged whether postive or negative. Decide if you are an agent of the camarilla or a rouge kindred seeking to save their species. Each character should represent one of the five boroughs. All sessions and meetings will be handled via Discord. Most content is allowed for character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a Discord and Roll20 account made and usable. Once apart of the campaign I will send out a discord server link players may use to join.
What Octavius brings to the table
I try my best to do character voices but I'm by no means a voice actor. I always have music playing that I've picked out beforehand to help with immersion. Most of the time we go by Rules as Written but if a moment is cool, unique, or creative enough I love the opportunity to utilize the Rule of Cool. Immersion is very important to my games so I do my best to make the scenarios as immersive as possible.
