About the adventure
Save Bog Bottom from an Amphibious Invasion! Your First Session is Free!!! Mysterious fogs have rolled into the peaceful village of Bog Bottom, and local townsfolk are disappearing without a trace. Strange croaks echo through the night, pointing toward a sinister plot lurking in the surrounding marsh. In Dawn of the Frogs, your party of heroes must band together, venture into the fog, and protect the village from an impending amphibious threat before it's too late! This standalone mini-adventure is set at 1st level and is explicitly designed to be approachable, exciting, and zero-stress for new players! If you’ve been wanting to try out Pathfinder 2e without feeling overwhelmed by complex mechanics, this frog-themed mystery is the perfect place to start. The story blends cozy village exploration, atmospheric marshland investigation, and rewarding, tactical teamwork. As your GM, I view Pathfinder 2e as an empowering toolkit to bring your hero’s best ideas to life. Combat and exploration are fun, cooperative team puzzles—whether you want to outsmart amphibious foes, navigate treacherous bogs, or coordinate spells with your party, we’ll use the system mechanics to make it happen. You don’t need to be a rules expert or tech wizard; I am always happy to teach as we play, assist with software, and ensure you feel totally supported at the table. At our table, cooperative teamwork, table safety, and mutual encouragement always come first. We maintain a non-PvP, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where every player gets their moment in the spotlight. Ready your gear, step into the fog, and help save Bog Bottom!

About me
Hello and welcome! I’m Billyfrog, and I run tabletop roleplaying games built around community, tactical depth, and shared storytelling. For me, GMing is much more than monster and rules, it’s about creating a warm, stress-free space where players can unplug, connect with awesome people, and feel empowered to try incredible things. Whether we’re rolling dice virtually or with physical dice at home, my goal is always the same: to deliver a welcoming, accessible environment where everyone gets their moment in the spotlight. Outside of GMing, I love cultivating plants, caring for my pets, and playing modern Board Games. If you’re looking for a campaign that balances deep mechanical choices with a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere, you’ve found the right table!

Creating your character
Character creation is completely flexible! We can build them together over Discord before the session or you can pick one of Paizo's Iconic characters and just jump in. How to Build & Tools Used Recommended Tool: We recommend using the free web tool Pathbuilder—it makes tracking options and building your character easier. Player Choice First: If you prefer using official Paizo books, DemiPlane, Archives of Nethys, or another builder, you are welcome to! We can get it into Foundry. Build Rules & Guidelines Starting Level: Level 1. Allowed Books & Content: All official, standard Paizo Pathfinder 2e sources are welcome. Collaborative Support: Whether you're a veteran theorycrafting a unique build or a beginner who wants step-by-step guidance, I am always available in Discord to help you flesh out your character!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1. Have a Discord Account & Mic Ensure you have a free Discord account, the app downloaded, and a working microphone. Once you sign up, you’ll find the Discord invite link in your game details. 2. Log In Using a Computer Join using a laptop or desktop computer with a standard-sized screen and a modern browser. Foundry VTT (Forge Hosting) will not work on phones or tablets, as it requires a standard display size and basic graphics processing to render the game maps properly. No software downloads are required! 3. Jump Right In (No Tech Stress!) You don't need to have a character pre-made or master any software. I can help you build a character or pick a pregenerated one before we play. I am always happy to teach and assist you with the digital tools, so you feel comfortable and confident at the table.
What Billyfrog brings to the table
A Player-Friendly Foundry Setup I invest a lot of care into prepping our virtual tabletop so your play experience is smooth, intuitive, and frustration-free. Custom UI & Smart Macros: Streamlined interfaces and one-click macros make rolling checks, attacks, and spells effortless. In-Game Reference Guides: Handy rules summaries and action cheat sheets are built right into Foundry for easy viewing. Atmosphere & Playstyle Zero-Pressure Roleplay: I bring NPCs to life with distinct personalities and encourage you to roleplay as much as you like in a comfortable, supportive space. Rules-As-Intended Philosophy: We follow official rules for stability, but logic, player intent, and narrative fun always win over pedantic rule-lawyering. A Patient, Supportive GM You get a GM dedicated to your fun. I keep a smooth pace, happily guide you through the software and mechanics whenever needed, and ensure a friendly, welcoming table where everyone gets to shine.

How Billyfrog creates a safe table
I have a Dedicated, Multi-Layered Safety System Player comfort, safety, and psychological well-being are my highest priorities. I build clear safety structures into every step of our campaign—before, during, and after our games. Anonymous Communication I have tools to allow for anonymous communication through my Discord server and in-session with the X card so players can enforce their lines, veils, and boundaries without fear or judgment. Pre-Game & Session 0 Alignment Lines & Veils: Before our first game, every player is given the opportunity to adjust the basic lines and veils to ensure their personal safety and comfort. Session 0 Ground Rules: We review our table expectations together, emphasizing mutual respect, an absolute zero-tolerance policy for hate speech/harassment, and a strict non-PvP rule. In-Game Safety Tools Digital X and Hand Safety Cards: Built directly into Foundry VTT, allowing any player to signal a pause so we can adjust or skip content instantly. Private GM Ticket Tool & Messaging: You can send a direct Discord message, utilize a private Discord ticket, or contact me anonymously through my Discord server if you feel uncomfortable about anything. Open-Door & Pause Policy: You are always free to step away, stretch, or call a short break without having to explain yourself. I have a button for that too. Aftercare & Open Feedback Post-Session Check-Ins: After intense encounters or at the end of sessions, we take a few minutes for debriefing, cool-downs, and friendly chat. I will always provide space for post-game thoughts, concerns, or safety notes so we can continuously adapt and ensure our table remains a safe, welcoming, and uplifting environment for everyone.
