About the adventure
Escape the Darklands is an exploration game set in a vault deep in Orv. The vault is named Ydriorroilth after the infernal archdragon of immense size that was buried here. During earthfall, Elves fled further and further into the darklands until making their way here, finding great danger. They borrowed the power of Ydriorroilth, turning to draconic and devilish magic to survive, forming a matriarchal society. You play as heroes captured by the drow, sacrifices to a ritual to restore Ydriorroilth to life, but political machinations free you. Now you must venture out into the vault and gather allies to rebel against the ruling Sorcerer Queen, fighting to the surface.

About me
I'm an Aspiring Game Designer and Pixel Artist with a long time love of ttrpgs! I started playing at 8 years old in Changeling the Dreaming, and started GMing in high school with Pathfinder 1st edition. I'm a queer friendly agender games master with a love of expressing characters through mechanics and level and map designs! I fully believe that a rich detailed world inspires rich detailed characters. Although I would describe myself as combat oriented GM, a good meaningful combat means investing in the characters even outside of the mechanics, and doing nothing but combat all the time doesn't make for the most engaging campaign.

Creating your character
There will be a free session zero to go over character creation together. Players will all start at level 4 using Free Archetype and Ancestry Paragon. Pathbuilder 2e will be recommended as a way to plan out a character builds, but everything you need to make a character will be in foundry. During character creation we will also go over safety tools and have a discussion about topics to be included in the game.
We currently have a very diverse party, only lacking perhaps in spellcasting utility, although I will not force anyone to take any class they do not want to play, and while a full caster would likely fit best with the party truly the party has a solid foundation that anyone can join. Currently we have: A Centaur Guardian w/ Bastion An Elf Commander w/ Captain A Viscogleth (similar to a mind flayer) Slayer w/ Living Nexus A Goblin Gunslinger w/ Rogue And an undecided
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure to have a discord account before the session is ready. A discord link will be provided when all players are gathered. Make sure you have a computer and browser capable of running Foundry. The game will be run using Forge VTT, so making an account prior to the game is recommended. The default assumption for this game is live text. If players prefer voiced, all players must agree beforehand.
What Gray brings to the table
I will provide a forge link on the discord server. I will run close but not exactly rules as written, you have the freedom in how you describe your actions, your equipment, and your character outside of the mechanics of the game. For example, if you want to play your kobold as a more dog-inspired design like Dungeon Meshi, you are welcome to do so!
Homebrew rules
We will be using the Free Archetype and Ancestry Paragon optional rules, and Galactic Hero Points. We will be using ArdisFoxXx's Lewd PF2e Module We will be using Relics.

How Gray creates a safe table
We will go over any soft and hard lines and veils during session zero and reaffirm them at the beginning of the session. My messages will be open for any concerns they'd like to keep private. Any player can type X, send an X emote, or use the foundry provided x-card module at any moment in the campaign to immediately shut down any safety or other concerns. There will be two breaks provided in the middle of the game to decompress. After the session, I will make myself available to discuss the session and ensure no lines or veils were crossed and to follow up on how the session made you feel.
