About the adventure
The call to meet your Daiyo came early, before dawn broke the horizon, when thin clouds of vapor still hovered low across the cool grass. Solemn lanterns hung, their light diffused by the mists of the morning, leading you to a room where your Daiyo and their closest sat, waiting, anticipating your arrival. When the doors shut behind you, you'd noticed the solemn look on the face of your noble. Serious, and unwavering. They spoke of the Emperor, and a strange illness that had befallen him. The royal advisor had called all across the land to summon aid. For the noble to send their most trusted to the temple, to protect him, to heal him, to assist in managing the court in his absence. Discover secrets as you explore the castle, meet and interview NPCs, and discover what (or rather who) is ailling the dear Emperor.

About me
Hello and welcome! I’m Pierce and I’d like to be your GM! I hope your travels so far have been kind to you, and I hope you’re ready for another! Or, if this is your first adventure, I’m honored to be your guide as you take your first steps! A bit about me: - I’ve been a professional dungeon master for 2 years, teaching kids aged 8-15 the ins and outs and joys of D&D. - I’ve been a hobbyist GM for 6 years, running home games for friends and family across several systems. - I’m an artist (and former tattoo artist), and can/will provide hand drawn character portraits for you and your table! - My favorite TTRPG system is the World of Darkness Storyteller System, with Dungeons and Dragons as a close second. - I am an avid video gamer as well, and play a multitude of games on PC, and have a big soft spot in my heart for Rock Band. Things to expect at my table: - Focus on role playing, where combat is used for the story rather than to fill space, and exploration is up to you. - Stories catered to you and your character rather than rigid adherence to existing narratives. - Active interest in your character arc and goals, tell me where you wanna go and how! - A dedicated discord server for each game with active participation from me - An open-door policy for kind and friendly conversation, even about the hard stuff - Curated Spotify/Youtube playlists to encapsulate the vibes of your game - Mutual respect for every single person, regardless of any variables - Time taken for each and every person at the table to get their handle on the rules and gameplay, with any assistance needed freely given. If all of this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, I’d like to formally invite you to join me at the table! I’m excited to meet you and craft your next favorite adventure.
