About the adventure
BOOK YOUR SEAT IN ADVANCE FOR NOVEMBER 17! Azeroth is entering a new age. The Third War is over, the Burning Legion has been defeated, and Thrall has led the Horde across the sea to build a new homeland in the harsh lands of Durotar. But the Horde's future is far from secure. Old enemies remain, the Alliance gathers its strength, and darker forces are already moving in the shadows. FOR THE HORDE! is my own long-term homebrew D&D 2024 campaign set in the world of Warcraft. We'll begin at level 1, around the events of the original World of Warcraft, and gradually experience a story inspired by Warcraft's canonical timeline, eventually leading all the way to Northrend and Icecrown Citadel. You'll explore iconic locations, meet legendary characters, delve into classic dungeons, fight the Horde's enemies, and experience familiar events from a completely new perspective. But this isn't a scripted recreation of WoW. Azeroth is your sandbox. Canon provides the foundation and the major events happening around you, but your characters can change what happens. People who survived in Warcraft's original timeline might die. Enemies might become allies. Alliances can collapse, victories can become disasters, and your decisions can send history down an entirely different path. Over time, we'll create our own alternate Warcraft timeline, shaped by the party rather than predetermined by the games. I've spent tens of thousands of hours in the Warcraft universe, from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and its custom maps, including the original DotA, through World of Warcraft from Vanilla to Wrath of the Lich King, alongside roughly six thousand hours of Hearthstone. This campaign is essentially my love letter to the Warcraft era I grew up with, rebuilt from the ground up as a tabletop campaign where YOU, rather than the heroes of the games, get to shape the fate of Azeroth. You don't need any previous Warcraft knowledge to play, but longtime fans should find plenty to recognize. LOK'TAR OGAR! FOR THE HORDE!

About me
Hello adventurers, I’m Ted! I am a full-time professional Dungeon Master with over 1000 sessions of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition experience. I began running games professionally in 2021, but my love for tabletop roleplaying started long before that around real tables with close friends. That sense of camaraderie, immersion, and shared storytelling is something I strive to bring into every campaign I run online. I specialize in long-term, character-driven adventures where player choices matter and the world reacts naturally to the party’s actions. Whether you’re exploring cursed lands, navigating political intrigue, or facing impossible moral decisions, I aim to make every session feel memorable and emotionally engaging. Being Greek born and raised has also given me an unexpected advantage as a DM: my NPCs naturally carry the flavor and atmosphere of old-world fantasy settings, especially in darker and gothic campaigns such as Curse of Strahd. I primarily run official Wizards of the Coast adventures, though I’m always open to preparing additional material or custom experiences for dedicated groups. Above all else, I value consistency, communication, and creating a table where players feel comfortable investing in both their characters and the story. My goal is not simply to run a game, but to build a campaign players genuinely look forward to every week. I would be honored to guide your next adventure.

Creating your character
We will begin at Level 1 and create characters together during Session 0, which is completely free. Characters will be created directly on Roll20. We will roll for ability scores using a group array, meaning everyone will use the same set of rolled stats. The exact method will be explained and rolled together during Session 0. We'll also use Session 0 to establish character concepts, connect the party to the Horde and the setting, discuss available character options, and make sure everyone is ready before the campaign begins.

How Ted the Dungeon Master | 1000+ Sessions Hosted creates a safe table
On Session 0 we will discuss the rulings we will follow, introduce ourselves, decide on the party composition and go over the way the campaign works. We will roll for stats, but everyone will use the array we roll. If the rolls are bad we will go with point-buy/standard array for all. We will use the "X, N and O" cards on Roll20. Players can expect a fast paced and rules light gaming experience. This specific campaign is highly comedic at times.
