About the adventure
This is a learn-to-play session of Daggerheart, the new fantasy roleplaying system from Darrington Press. Ideal for curious first-time players or seasoned adventurers looking to try something new, this mini-campaign will walk you through the mechanics as your party uncovers secrets, questions allegiances, and understand what they can do to cure the curse that has attacked the continent! I will provide everything you need: pre-generated characters, rules references, immersive soundscapes, and prepped Roll20 space. The Hope and Fear expansion will be shared and can be used for this campaign! Campaign Background: The Reaping Eye—an artifact of immense power—is locked beneath the central tower of Haven’s wizarding school. While the city tries to forget its cursed legacy with the Witherwild, a rebel group led by the enigmatic Fanewraith (she/her) seeks to tear the wound open once more. Their plan: find the mythical Great Owl, Nikta, and pluck out the Sowing Eye to counterbalance the Reaping Eye's corruption. Kreil Dirn (he/him), Haven’s weary and morally grey spymaster, knows the cost of such power all too well. Unable to send his own soldiers, he turns to outside agents—you. Characters will start with Pre-Gen characters to get to know the rules, but will have an opportunity to keep those characters or create new character after session 1.

Because this will be a Learn to Play Mini-Campaign, we will be using pre-generated characters. Players can make their own characters after session 1! We will be using the Daggerheart Core Rules as well as the Hope and Fear expansion optional rules!
