About the adventure

❄️ Terra Antarctica: Into the Frozen Unknown Antarctica. A land of endless ice, brutal storms, and secrets buried for millions of years. You are part of an expedition venturing into one of the most inhospitable places on Earth. What begins as a journey of exploration quickly becomes something far more terrifying as strange discoveries challenge everything you thought you knew about the world. In Terra Antarctica, you'll investigate ancient mysteries, uncover forbidden knowledge, brave the elements, and confront horrors that were never meant to be discovered. With supplies running low, the temperature dropping, and something lurking beyond the edge of the light, survival may be the least of your problems. Expect investigation, exploration, survival, roleplay, and plenty of Lovecraftian horror as you uncover the truth beneath the ice. The expedition has begun. The question is whether you'll make it back.

About me

Hello everyone! I'm Cody, otherwise known as the Forever DM! I've been playing tabletop RPGs for over 23 years, but my love for games started long before I discovered Dungeons & Dragons or any traditional RPG system. Even back then, I was making up my own games and adventures. Everything changed when my dad bought me the core rulebooks for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, sparking a lifelong passion for storytelling, worldbuilding, and tabletop gaming. What makes me a little unique is that I'm a true Forever DM. I rarely get the chance to play a character myself, spending most of my time behind the screen creating memorable adventures for others. Over the years, I've introduced countless new players to the hobby, and there's something genuinely special about helping someone learn the game, watching them discover their creativity, and seeing that moment when everything just clicks. While D&D will always be my first love and my gateway into the hobby, I've since branched out into other fantastic systems, including Vampire: The Masquerade, Cyberpunk RED, and Arkham Horror. I love exploring different worlds, trying new systems, and finding new ways to tell incredible stories with the people around the table. This past year running games on StartPlaying has been a real eye-opener. I've had the chance to meet wonderful people, make new friends, introduce players to systems they might never have tried otherwise, and learn a lot about the kind of GM I want to be. For me, the players always come first. I want you to feel like you're part of a living, breathing world where your choices matter. You're not just along for the ride; you help drive the story. The world reacts to what you do, the story shifts and changes with your decisions, and the most memorable moments are the ones we create together. I don't want amazing things happening off-screen that you have no opportunity to influence. I want to see what happens when you take an unexpected approach, come up with a creative solution, or turn my carefully laid plans completely upside down! I also want my games to be as accessible and welcoming as possible. Personally, I don't want someone to miss out on this incredible hobby because of financial constraints. That's why I've capped all my games at $15 per session. I want people to have the opportunity to meet new friends, explore fantastic worlds, and create unforgettable stories without feeling like the cost is a barrier to entry. At the end of the day, TTRPGs are about coming together, having fun, and creating stories that we'll remember long after the dice stop rolling. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or picking up your first character sheet, there's a place for you at my table. If you're looking for a fun, inclusive, and welcoming space where creativity, roleplay, and memorable stories come first, I'd be happy to be your guide on your next TTRPG adventure!

What The Forever DM brings to the table

I bring a strong sense of wonder and mystery, I work hard to give my NPCs they're own "voice" in my games. I try to balance my games with a even amount of action and roleplay, and my favorite is mixing them, I strive to make combats feel dynamic and alive.
