You can customize your background. • Use my custom array: 18, 17, 16, 13, 11, 8 (distribute in your choice of order) • Choose two uncommon and two common magic items from any WotC source. • Start with starting equipment AND starting gold. • You may choose from all races, classes, backgrounds, and other PC options in any officially released D&D 5e product. Preparing for the session

This is an asynchronous play-by-post game played by Discord with the Avrae bot. This means that posts will be made throughout the week; it's to the pace of the group. All playing will be done by text, making things accessible for those who aren't able to use voice. I will update at least daily. You will get to experience the story and the roleplay, while also learning about--or getting more experience with--play-by-post format and Avrae. You do not need to know Avrae, or any of the other tools. I can teach you. What Dreams & Eni brings to the table

Enigma, your DM, provides an incredible experience, with the help of various tools about 20 years of experience with text roleplay. His games include: 🔹 Working one-on-one with you to weave your character backstory in and make this a unique experience. 🔹 Adding his own twist to the story and accounting for character actions and interactions. This is not a static world, and the echoes of the party's choices will be seen. 🔹 Giving characters boons and magic items and scaling up monsters to make combat engaging and challenging. Monsters will not hold back, but the DM will root for your success. 🔹 Creating NPCs with motivations and personalities, who may help or hinder the player characters. Maintain friendships, rivalries, make enemies or even potentially lovers (with consent). 🔹 Customized heroic rivals that will try to oppose the party at every turn. 🔹 Additional monsters from Kobold Press, Level Up 5E, Monster Manual Expanded, 2CGaming, etc 🔹 Custom (homebrew) content and systems from the DM and third-parties. 🔹 Pre-generated characters or concepts, in case you do not wish to create your own Dreams will bring: 🔹 Their knowledge of Avrae VTT, which they will teach players wanting to learn 🔹 Their resources, which they share with Enigmatic

Homebrew rules

Spells will be the 2024 versions with the following changes: • Paladin's Divine Smite is not a bonus action. It is also not a leveled spell. • Spiritual Weapon is not concentration. • For the 2024 Hexblade, Hex is non-concentration. • For Rangers, Hunter's Mark is not concentration. Other Homebrew/Custom rules: • Scrolls can be used by anyone. Arcana DC: 10 + spell level • Critical damage: maximum on the second damage dice. (Will change this if players vote against it.) • I can include Critical Hit/Fumble tables if players want. They can only happen to a character once per round. • If you land a nat 20, give another player inspiration. Inspiration can be used fulr a reroll at Tier 1-2, and/or to gain advantage in all tiers.

How Dreams & Eni creates a safe table

🏳️‍🌈♾️👨🏾‍🦲 This is a safe table for people of all types. Dreams is trans and queer, Enigma is LGBTQIA+, and we are both neurodivergent. We hope to make a place where all can feel accepted, regardless of race, gender, beliefs. 👨🏾‍🦲♾️🏳️‍🌈 This campaign is a play-by-post format, which means that it's heavy on roleplay but also includes challenging combat and exploration. As a play-by-post (PBP) campaign, it's asynchronous and played only via text, with no voice or sessions. The game is played throughout the week and billed on a subscription basis. The speed of the campaign goes with the pace of the group, and I will post daily (except on weekends when I take a break). Players will get to experience the story and system while playing via text, and I and Dreams are always here to help. Safety tools will always be in effect; this game is a safe and inclusive place. We will use safety cards, Monte-Cooke consent form, lines and veils, and any other safety tools the group needs. Both Enigma and Dreams are neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+, and seek to provide a safe table for all players. Accessibility is a big part of the game, and accommodations will be made to meet your needs so that you can have fun.
