About the adventure
Oh no! Your souls have been bought and sold by the evil overlords of Cheliax, and now you've become just another sinner lost in the cogs of the machine. It's a messed-up world, but you're determined to rise above your situation and seize power for yourself. Between the forces of diabolical tyranny and self-righteous heavenly glory, you find your people. What does it mean to run an "evil" campaign? It's about inverting all the usual standard fantasy tropes and giving the players the chance to do something novel - embody the villains that they usually are called upon to stop. This isn't a campaign about moral grayness or difficult choices to be made during war. The player characters are gonna get to cackle maniacally, recruit all manner of evil henchmen, and scheme to bring heroes to a righteous end. I present to you this campaign about playing the "bad guy", but really, it's about trying to eke out a life in a worse situation.

About me
"He’s like Mrs. Dalloway, but with dice." - my favorite review ever Well met, fellow human! Let's sit down and come up with a story, something that we'll be remembering fondly for years afterwards. Let's make up stupid voices and get all emotional over a fake donkey, let's turn up the battle music and feel tension as the enemy moves across the field. Let's create some badass moments. As you may have gathered, I'm a big fan of the collaborative nature of tabletop roleplaying. I believe the game runs best when I don't know what's going to happen next, you don't know what's going to happen next, and we're all just frantic with excitement about the next roll of the dice. We play to find out what happens.

Creating your character
We'll be creating characters before the first session, using a Player's Guide I'll write up beforehand as guidance. 1st level Pathfinder 2e characters, standard rules for character creation. We'll be discussing the use of variant rules in Session #0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please read the Player's Guide I'll write up beforehand, as this will help guide you to an appropriate character concept for this story. I also ask that you prepare a decent microphone and a quiet gaming environment for each session, as the last thing we want to do is fight over background noise for each player.
What Brayden brings to the table
I'll be bringing years of experience with Pathfinder 2e specifically and RPGs in general to the game. I'll also be building up our world on the Foundry VTT, complete with custom maps, music, and more! In general I emphasize the storytelling aspect of this hobby and want to empower my players to tell an equal part of this tale alongside me. The game is at its best when we all come excited and willing to share our ideas at the table, and let our imaginations carry us away.

How Brayden creates a safe table
As a game about playing nominally evil or anti-heroic characters, this game will require a hefty dose of content discretion in order to make sure we're all on the same wavelength about what can and cannot happen at the table. Your characters are people who are expected, nay, encouraged, to do terrible things. A deliberate black comedy tone is taken with this game in order to cope with the fact that otherwise our party is going to be made up of pretty horrible people. Lines and Veils will be used very often in play, as will as the constant availability of the X-Card.
