About the adventure
It was a quiet day when a desperate messenger arrived to the great city Ravenport carrying a most distressing message: The nearby lumber town of Halzen has been overtaken by a mysterious mist, any who enter it never to be seen again. The townsfolk put together all the money and resources they had to send an envoy requesting aid, for dark things stalk the nights and more and more of the inhabitants disappear come morning, the sun ever dimmer. The Black Hound's Consort has put out an official bounty of 5000 gold pieces for any that may solve this mystery, but you may find that no gold would be enough for what you found yourselves against. LGBTQ+ inclusive.

About me
My name is Marcos André, I am a veteran Game Master from Brazil with over six years of experience. Though I am most experienced with Dungeons and Dragons 5e, I have been prioritizing simpler systems like DnD B/X (and its retro clone Old-School Essentials). When it comes to running my games, I always start with a session 0 to establish what is to be expected from my players and the campaign. My games have the unfortunate tendency to derail almost immediately, almost always due to the dice deciding what would be funnier to no fault of the players.

Creating your character
Characters will be created during Session 0, within Fantasy Grounds itself. Character backstories are to be kept to a two paragraph maximum.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account to join the game server, along with a comprehensible microphone. Although text is an acceptable option if required, voice will still be prioritized. The VTT that will be used is Fantasy Grounds, which does require both players and GM to have it installed, it can be downloaded for free on the official website or Steam, and supports all major operating systems.
What Marcos André brings to the table
I will do my best to provide a fun experience to the players, with player made decisions being prioritized, be aware that the consequences of said decisions won't always be clear. I usually go for a more Rule of Cool kind of game, but will default to the rules as written when in doubt regarding a given situation.
