About the adventure
Thieves of Ashport takes place in the city of Ashport, one of the largest known cities in the world, settled right on the ocean, and at the end of a long river. The city is bustling, with trade, and imports, and dreams of empire in its future. A bustling wealthy city. None of that trickles down to you, unless you go up there and take it. You are thieves, low-lives, thugs, possibly cutthroats and assassins, but certainly criminals. Living in the poorest part of the city, outside the walls, you scrap by, but ambitions of a life more than that of a dock-hand or fisherman, has led you to less legal employment. The PCs will be the members of their own gang of criminals in a dark fantasy city. As the campaign goes on, you will have choices to make regarding the nature of your crimes, who you target, what friends and enemies you make, and how you build your influence. Will you be heroes of the downtrodden, shadowy criminal masterminds, crime bosses the city can't touch, or end up as jailbirds, or worse, hanging in central square.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I am a Game Master with twenty years of experiance, and an amateur Vtuber and TTRPG content creator. I have experience in a dozen systems, and am interested in running games both recorded for Youtube and private. One of my proudest achievements was a multi-year experiment in which I ran more than half a dozen D&D 5e campaigns in a shared world with many crossovers and some special events. It was a very amazing experience, and the created a rich homebrew setting to play in. However, I am moving away from D&D 5th edition in favor of other systems. I have recently (the last year or so) become a big fan of Pathfinder 2e, in addition I also have a strong interest in OSR style games, such as Old School Essentials and Worlds Without Number. I am also a huge fan of GURPS, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Dungeon World, Fate, and enjoy Savage Worlds, Edge of the Empire, Legends of the Five Rings, and a variety of other PbtA systems as well, and am looking to run Pathfinder 2e more, and more ORS style systems.

Creating your character
During Session 0, we will make characters collaboratively, while discussing the themes and goals of the campaign. This campaign takes place in my homebrew setting of Terradraconum. As such the list of available/common/uncommon ancestries is different than the default for PF2e, and a couple of homebrew ancestries are available. Links to my homebrew setting Players Document will be provided on my server. We will be using the Free Archetype rule, and starting the game at Level 2, where you get your first Archetype Feat. However, it is preferred to use your Free Archetype for thematic options more so than optimization. Each campaign will include a list of recommended Archetypes handpicked for Session 0 to help tie your character to the themes of the campaign.
What to expect

How Kaybe Angel creates a safe table
We will discuss the themes of the campaign, during session 0, but in general I expect this campaign to be focused on crime and the criminal underworld in a dark fantasy city. I do welcome any players to request either during session 0 or privately in DMs for any specific phobias or triggers to be avoided. Some cannot be, due to the nature of the campaign, but if I have a request to not use Spiders, for instance, I will work around such requests. Due to simply the mechanics of the game, Character Death is always a possibility. Beyond that, you can expect typical levels of fantasy violence, but also murder, betrayals, police violence, crime and punishment in a dark fantasy city.
