About the adventure
PLEASE NOTE: This mini campaign will start on August 23rd and complete in September. This mini campaign is for those completely new to the system of Daggerheart or who have played a little and want more experience than a one-shot can provide In this mini campaign we will: š²Have an official session zero where we will build characters together and go over the entirety of the character sheet. āļø Explore how Daggerheart differs from other popular tabletop roleplaying systems and learn its unique style of play. š± Play through an official campaign frame, rather than a prewritten module, allowing for a one-of-a-kind story to be told by your characters. š Complete a full mini-campaign consisting of 6ā8 sessions, plus Session Zero. This mini campaign will start on August 23rd and complete in September. The Campaign Frame: The Witherwild Fanewick is a wild and untamed land long avoided by outside forces. It was once a place of abundance and peaceādangerous to those unfamiliar with its ways, but a cornucopia for those who respected the land. Then Haven, an opposing region, invaded the wilds and forced Fanewick into an eternal spring. From that unnatural season, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold. Its corruption now spreads across the land, threatening everyone who calls Fanewick home. In this campaign, you will play unlikely heroes from humble beginnings who must reckon with a newfound responsibility: protecting Fanewickās people and stopping the Witherwild before its corruption consumes the land.

About me
Building Parties āļø |š¤Making Friends Hi, Iām Cory! Iāve been playing Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop roleplaying games since 2006, and Iāve spent the past 10 years bringing stories to life as a Game Master. I specialize in original, homebrewed campaigns built around the characters at the table. I believe the most engaging stories are the ones the players help create. Rather than placing your character into a predetermined story for reasons that may not feel personal, my goal is to create campaigns where your choices matter and the world responds to your actions. When you join one of my campaigns, your characterās backstory, relationships, ambitions, fears, and goals become as important as the larger adventure. Some campaigns my players have enjoyed include: The Eldritch Horrors An original cosmic-horror campaign centered on a rift in space-time opening across a homebrewed continent, releasing strange creatures, impossible environments, and mysteries that challenged the partyās understanding of reality. The Feywild Campaign A character-driven journey through long forgotten Feywild courts struggling to survive after the Seasonal Courts rose to prominence. The campaign is a mix of political intrigue, ancient family legacies, and dangerous fey bargains. Of Frost and Steel: A Mall of America Campaign Set in modern-day Bloomington, Minnesota, this campaign follows an underfunded secret municipal department operating from offices inside the Mall of America. Their responsibility is to manage everything weird, strange, and supernatural. They are having one heck of a Fourth of July after a freak blizzard suddenly strikes the city. Welcome to Florida! A modern urban-fantasy campaign set in a magical version of Florida, where an eco-warrior druid is causing chaos in response to the development of yet another 55+ retirement community and golf course. Players fight supernatural threats, environmental conflict, local politics, and plenty of unmistakably Floridian weirdness. Spelljammers: D&D in Space A character-driven sandbox inspired by Treasure Planet, following the crew of the Righteous Starfall as they travel the Astral Sea, explore distant worlds, encounter dangerous factions, and build their own reputation among the stars. My goal as a Game Master is to create a welcoming table where players feel comfortable taking risks, developing memorable characters, and contributing to the world around them. I enjoy a balanced mix of roleplay, exploration, mystery, tactical combat, humor, and cinematic moments but, the exact direction of each campaign is shaped by the people playing it. When Iām not behind the GM screen, Iām usually at the gym, writing and expanding my homebrewed settings with the hope of publishing them one day, or working in my community to support underserved populations. I also love traveling, exploring unusual places, visiting museums and historical sites, going gem mining, discovering local legends, and finding the kinds of strange roadside attractions that inevitably become inspiration for future campaigns. What you can expect at my table: š¬ Storytelling that weaves your characterās personal backstory into the overarching story. PC and NPC motivations are most important as they answer the proverbial āwhyā at the table. š A balanced mix of roleplay, combat, and laughter āļø Combat that is more than āroll initiativeā and āyou hit.ā Narrated combat sequences, environmental effects and danger, and unique win/lose-cons. Itās important to me that the combat makes sense and adds to the story overall. š Living worlds that react to player choices and evolve with the story. Small actions can set off major events to happen. Table Vibeās: š„ Human first. I promise to make mistakes, fumble around, look up a rule I forgot, lose a character voice mid roleplay, and have a tech issue or two here or there. šLaid back, laughter, making friends, active Discord. Roll dice and be merry! š Inclusivity is paramount. Whether youāre neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, brand new to TTRPGs, or a veteran player, youāve got a seat at my table. **Please note, if there is a campaign you are interested in but, it's not at a time/day that works for you, message me! I'm available most days from 6:30pm EST on (and pretty open weekend availability). We can start an adventure when it works for you!*
