About the adventure
To Kill a Pegasus is a campaign that is built for mystery, politics, and intrigue. With Dallas as the setting, players will explore one of the most powerful cities of the Camarilla, and what it takes in order to gain power within the Ivory Tower. Two of the primogen of Dallas have had a bitter rivalry lasting the vast majority of their undead existence. In these modern nights, Victor D'amore of clan Venture and Elizabeth Sterling of the Tremere are at last duking it out, desperate to settle the score after decades of disputes. Meanwhile, the Prince of Dallas, Gabriel Morgan, has his attention focused heavily on removing the plaque of Thin-Bloods that has descended upon the city. With the two primogen starting to disastrously feud in public, he finds himself needing a plucky coterie, willing to help him settle the matter once and for all. Players should join expecting the following: * A more social focused experience, and less combat than a usual campaign *A political web to untangle, spanning back a 150 years worth of facts and lies to filter out the truth from, and a cause that players will have to choose to fight for or to ignore. * A rule of cool over rules as written environment, built to highlight the strengths of the characters. There is much in the night to discover, and even more to be able to profit from. What will you and your coterie choose to do?

About me
Hiya! My name is Kino (She/Her), and I've been an RPG player and DM since first discovering World of Darkness in 2010. After touching pen to paper, and dice to table, I've never been able to stop. I have a real love to introducing new players from other systems to new systems, particularly all the flavors of that WoD has to offer. As a queer trans-woman, I pride myself in fostering diverse tables, holding a safe space for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks, as the hobby is always greater when everyone is welcome. We all have a role to play! While WoD has always been my main system I run, with a focus on Vampire, Werewolf, and Geist, I do have experience running other system; Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, and most recently Avatar Legends. I have always tried to familiarize myself with other systems, as its a great way to stay creative and passionate. You never know where a good idea can come from. A lot of my focus as Game Master tends to be on creating social, political, and world building style games. While combat and rules style gameplay is important for all kinds of games, I find that in my experience the memorable moments are the connections players make with each other and to NPCs. I look forward to share my love for World of Darkness and other games. I know from my own time spent playing games how hard it can be to find GMs that are experienced and willing to run. I look forward to having you at my table!

Creating your character
When you join, we shall have a Session 0 to do character creation together. Feel free to bring a character you have already created prior to the Session 0, but please keep in mind that things may need to be tweaked in order to fit in the campaign. Any pre-built characters should not go above 12th generation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need an account for the following: *Discord- This is where we will be hosting the voice call for our session, as well as access to other in-game materials. *Roll 20- This is where will actually roll dice, create character sheets, and play the game over. If you need help creating an account, or understanding how these services work, please don't hesitate to ask.
What Kino brings to the table
Upon completing Session 0, players will be added to the campaign Discord. Players will find, beyond the basic tabs for organizing information, several sections for in universe building. Expect various in game newspaper headlines, NPC interactions during down time, and more. Players will also be provided an anonymous google survey where feedback about the game can be provided, as well as any concerns that may come up that is hard to discuss one on one or in group settings. Players should expect things to lean in a Rule of Cool direction over Rules as Written. I believe in fostering a more combat lite style of gameplay, sandbox approach.

How Kino creates a safe table
Before joining a campaign, we in Session 0 will not only create/review your character sheet, but go over some ground rules and guidelines, such as the safety tools and any questions you may have. Every game I run will use Lines and Veils. I also maintain an open door policy so any player may take a break at any time in order to best manage any emotions or needs that may come up as a result of play. Session 0 is also were we will have discussions about any needs or boundaries that should be implemented as well to ensure the best playing environment. Players will also have access to anonymous google survey link to also seed feedback or requests that maybe difficult to broach in a group or one on one setting.
