About me
I have had 35+ years of experience with Tabletop Role Playing games (TTRP), 30+ years of which I have been a Dungeon Master (DM). I have only been doing online RP for about 5 years. I have been creating my own content for years, but I also use official Dungeons & Dragons publications for my stories, and I am more than happy to run PCs through the Official Module of your choosing. I am flexibly and cater my playstyle to my player group, customizing each campaign to ensure each new adventure is unique and to your play styles and liking. I'll bend the campaign make it fun for all my players if you want to feel like heroes or antiheroes. I own both D&D 5th edition source material, as well as Roll20 content, giving my players an array of material to choose from and platforms to play on.

Creating your character
There will be a session 0 to create characters and go over safety and the setting, as well, where questions can be addressed and the tone of the campaign will be set. Generally, the games I run wind up being somewhat comical, if players want, incorporating plenty of silly moments and lighthearted laughter into the overarching storyline. But if players want a more serious play style, I’m capable of that too.

Preparing for the session
Preparing for your adventure A roll20 account is necessary as it is the VTT we use. We will also use Discord for voice and video chat, so a headset/speakers and a mic will be required. Video, is optional and depends on the group, and a camera is not necessary to play in this game.
What RPGPotomus brings to the table
Playing as I stated will be on roll20, using Discord voice and video chat. I really am looking forward to running this module, seeing how the players take it and make it their own. I have not run it fully since it has been revised only played it. It has been different every time! I highly encourage role playing within the setting. Phandalin is fleshed out very well, and there are lots of things to do in town if only you look for opportunities! Don't be afraid to explore! This game is a great jumping off point for beginners looking to get into the game. All player levels are welcome; in my experience, the more seasoned gamers have no qualms about helping out newbies, so feel free to jump right on in!
