About the adventure
The Hook - Grab your coffee. Roll initiative. You have exactly two hours, and we are starting right in the middle of the action. This time slot is built specifically for early risers, East Coasters having their morning coffee, and Europeans on their lunch break. The Scenario - You and your friends are tasked with cleaning up the night shift’s latest, deadly bungle. Fight through the chaos from the wee hours to the first light of day, ending (hopefully in one piece) at Draymore’s Coffee Shop for a well-deserved rest and some well-earned coin. What to Expect - Respect For Your Time: This is a fast-paced, episodic D&D 2024 game with a strict, high-energy 2-hour timeframe. Perfect for busy professionals, stressed students, and those who value their time. Drop-In / Drop-Out: You can join anytime. We will level you up right away and get you straight into the action. Beginners and experts are both wonderful! Zero-Friction Tech: We will be using gamefest.app, my own custom platform designed to be highly responsive with no massive learning curve. Onboarding is instant. Easy Characters: Import your character directly from D&D Beyond or create one on gamefest.app—either is fine.

About me
I have been roleplaying for decades, and I love it. I'm here to meet new and established players and give them the best games I possibly can. I have been published in science fiction and fantasy (Writer's of the the Future) and I love the genre. I treat my games with respect and a healthy dose of comedy, and I pride myself in adapting to your every move. I look forward to running a game for you!

What Doc brings to the table
I excel at roleplay, and there will be plenty of that. I am also good at worldbuilding, and have a rich setting that I hope you will enjoy. I do so love rich, elegant descriptions, and deep, plot driven stories! We are basically rules as written for this game, though the occasional rule of cool may sneak through. You will certainly encounter creatures and spells that you have never seen before. I do try to use some voices, although that is not my strong point! Although I will often use maps for combat, this is theatre of the mind as well. I will have pictures of people and places from time to time. I am extremely flexible, and will adapt to whatever moves you wish to make in-game. I do not seek to limit your player agency. I will, however, not allow any bullying or abuse of any players. I just won't. Should this happen, your money will be refunded and you will be asked to leave. This is a safe place. I realize that in this situation, I am working for you. I appreciate you, and will give you my best in return.

How Doc creates a safe table
Anyone can take a break whenever they wish, including missing a session or two, without penalty. Anyone may request a fade to black without penalty. The safety of the group and the individual is our main concern. At any time, any player may comment on their concerns, and we will discuss them immediately (Luxon Technique).
