About the adventure
200 years after the Great Cataclysm, the world of Kesca has somewhat recovered from the horrors of warring gods. With the old pantheon in shambles, a voice reaches you. Anointed as one of the new Champions of Nymara; a recently born goddess said to bring forth a new era, you are tasked with unraveling the true cause of this apocalyptic event and given the choice of what to do with this knowledge and whatever power you may gain along the way. Do you trust this young goddess to aid you as all the others have failed or forsaken you? Do you seek power for yourself? What is the world worth to you? Who will you become when you learn the truth of what happened and why you were chosen?

About me
I started with tabletop games about seven years ago in LA living with a bunch of other goth nerds all playing dnd and one shots in the tavern of the mansion we all rented (there were fifteen of us lol). I'm a published author and poet, a certified comic artist, I've done script writing work for indie films - telling stories is very much a part of who I am. Doing it collaboratively is absolutely divine! My first game as a player was a cthulu themed one shot, my first campaign as a gm was for a fallout ttrpg, although I am very much a dnd person - I was helping my best friend work out some lore and got so invested we ran the game together. I'm also a certified comic artist and worked in character creation and worldbuilding for a comic studio, so I've definitely got a background in making places and people feel alive on top of acting experience. A lot of shenanigans occurred over the years of my life and I'm so grateful those shenanigans brought me here. Building a story together with people, getting to know the characters, watching them grow, build off their backstories. It's so much fun!

Creating your character
Stats are point buy, most books are fair game - ask if you have any concerns something may not fit, character creation is before session 1 although I'm happy to help with it if you'd like, we are currently level 7, and it only goes up from there! (Provided you survive =} )
We currently have a twilight cleric/rune knight fighter multiclass, and astral monk with a college of creation bard npc who runs about with them! Our fathomless warlock, oath of devotion paladin, and aberration sorcerer had to drop because of Life Happening, (ironically at a perfect time to write out their characters based on where the party is right now), this is a great jumping in point!

What Prince brings to the table
There will be voices, a curated playlist, combat to keep you on your toes, I am willing to hear out any compelling cases you make towards shenanigans or character backgrounds/motivation. There will be psychic damage and levity. There will also be moments where I call upon what your character is thinking, reminding you of the weights and reservations they may carry during their journey to wield the power granted for the benefit of a world reconstructing itself. Or, they may choose to wield that power for themselves, for what they need, for what they may have never had. The door is always open.
Homebrew rules
We do use flanking, healing potions can be a bonus action, all casters can read scrolls!
