About the adventure
It is the Year of Our Lord 1396. Bishop William of Wykeham, the leader of the English Shadow Inquisition, a man feared by Cainites across the isle of Britain, has vanished without a trace from his personal quarters inside Wolvesey Palace. All clues point to Cainite involvement. The Inquisition is in a fury and Winchester’s undead leadership is in a panic. Unless the bishop is found and returned unharmed, and quickly, the backlash could be truly devastating in its scope. You are ghoul retainers of some of the Cainite leaders of the fiefdom of Winchester. Now you’re on a race against time to rescue Wykeham and return him safely, all the while disposing of the trail of breadcrumbs that have been laid out for the Inquisition to follow, before all hell breaks loose. Play your cards right, and this could lead to your Embrace. Fail, and face the fires of the Inquisition along with your Cainite masters. “The Peasants Revolt” is a Vampire: The Dark Ages 20th Anniversary Edition chronicle beginning in the year 1396, with the characters starting out as ghouls and mortal servants of Cainites in the fiefdom of Winchester, and leading through their Embrace and a century’s worth of stories during the time of the Anarch Revolt, culminating in the Convention of Thorns outside Silchester in 1495. Characters will be created as ghouls or mortal servants of the Cainites of Winchester, and Embraced by the end of the first story (assuming they survive and succeed). Clans available for domitors (and potential sires) include Brujah, Gangrel, Giovani, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere and Ventrue. Other options may be possible with Storyteller approval.

About me
Hi! I'm a writer and published journalist who's been GMing for over 30 years. I first began roleplaying and running games in high school, but my experience really took off in college in the 1990s, when I was introduced to the World of Darkness game setting. I've run one-shot games at conventions and I served as gaming room director for Jersey Devil Con 3 in 2003.

Creating your character
Characters will be created as ghouls or mortals before the game starts, and can be finished during Session 0. Characters should use the standard array for mortals and ghouls (6/4/3 for Attributes, 11/7/4 for Abilities, 5 Backgrounds, 7 Virtues, Potence and 1 other Discipline for ghouls) but will start out with 26 points for Backgrounds, reflecting a higher level of experience. I'd like players to really think about who their characters are as mortals, and why and how they fell under the sway of a Cainite. We'll work together to pick an appropriate Cainite master, based on the player's interest in future clan.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Once you join the campaign, I will provide you with an invite to my Discord server.
What Jamie brings to the table
I'll bring a well-developed historical setting with lots of political intrigue. There won't be a lot of combat, but there will be some. I like to run roleplay-heavy scenes, and everything is Theater of the Mind, with a focus on Rule of Cool. If it makes sense, go for it!

How Jamie creates a safe table
I want everyone to feel comfortable at my table. We'll hold a Session 0, during which we'll discuss Lines and Veils, and people can let me know if they need to take a break or discuss things out of character.
