About the adventure
This one shot is intended for newcomers who want to try Girl by Moonlight/Forged in the Dark for the first time. You'll dive into the role of a university student who leads a double life as a magical girl (all genders welcome!) and your team will infiltrate a setting (e.g. casino, carnival, work campus) within the city of Alvern to free a corrupt adult from the grasp of the Abyss.

About me
Hi! I’m Violet, and I love running games that are imaginative, rp-heavy, and fiction-focused! I especially love getting players to build relationships between their characters. After eight years of playing mostly DnD, I started running Forged in the Dark systems. I’ve been running Songs for the Dusk, Girl by Moonlight, and Blades in the Dark. I’ve also ran a DnD mini-campaign (homebrew) and some one shots in previous years. Right now, I can’t wait to run some more GBM, as I’m very much into the anime touchstones it invites. 90%-prefilled character sheets will be available and may be modified to fit your desire. The only field you *must* fill out yourself is one character *promise* made to another character, which we will go over together as a group.

What Violet brings to the table
I am very hands-on in helping you come up with ideas when you are stumped. I run a somewhat fast-and-loose style that's centered on being a big fan of my players; if you want to do something cool, I want to make it happen! Even on failures, I still will try to make your characters look cool. But don't expect to get away scotfree-- I'm not shy about complications and consequences that you run into on the way to your goal. Overall, you should expect to triumph, but not without a cost to your character. Things rarely go exactly as planned...
