About the adventure

You are a Wake-Rider, an individual who has set out across the boundless waters to discover why the wordly magic is beginning to act strange. Grab your finest compass and swimming gear, you've got a hell of a journey ahead of you, and many friends to meet along the way. This is a setting in which traditional "Dry land" does not exist, the world consisting of vast expanses of ocean and immense ruins reach into the sky to connect the heavens. This is the perfect place to throw your more aquatic character concepts into the mix, and try your hand at making something entirely new for the setting!

About me

Hello! I go by Deacon or Daze, and I have been DMing for about 4 years now! I have most experience with 5e 2014 and Lancer! I have experience DMing for Daggerheart as well, but significantly less so than other listed options. I dabble in 2d digital artwork and streaming on the side, and am excited to see what we can create together! I specialize in Homebrew settings, and tend to lean more into what would be most enjoyable for the players rather than being too hard and fast with system rules.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done during session 0 (which will be the first time all meet up), and during the week up until session day. Starts will be Standard Array or Point Buy, whichever is preferred between player to player. As per location, I will provide a Roll20 for sheets to be stored and games to be played on.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Please have a Foundry account created and discord available, I'll provide a server for us to play on.

What DeaconsDaze brings to the table

I use most everything in my arsenal during session; little voices for NPCs, ambient music and noises, and the best of all; the Rule of Cool if it'd lead to awesome narrative moment. Fun and an engaging story are my town utmost goals, so I will happily do what it takes to ensure both are achieved.

Safety

How DeaconsDaze creates a safe table

We will be having an extensive session 0 to go over not only fundamentals of the campaign, but ensure people's lines are laid bare and limits know. If there is ever one of these broken during the sessions, we operate with the red light system, in which I'd ask you either DM me to tell us 'red light', and we will immediately halt action to discuss what had happened, and how to resolve it.
