Global communications have collapsed. Databases have vanished. Infrastructure lies in ruins. Food production is practically dead. Earth's umbilical coil to the Off-World Colonies has been badly damaged. Practically everything has to be imported - and its not easy. Humanity is hungry, frightened, and looking for someone to blame. ■ You Are A Blade Runner 🕵️ In response to growing unrest, the United Nations has authorised the formation of Replicant Destruction Task Force. A chaotic mess of UN Agencies, LAPD Division and City of Los Angeles Departments. You are among the first Blade Runners assigned to work with this new organisation. Nexus-8 Replicants are everywhere. It is a time of paranoia. Your superior, Captain Bryant, is dying - an alcoholic mess. The RDU needs new blood. Some honest cops who can restore its honor. But these honest hearts will be chilled into those of deadly assassins in days to come. Destroy all Replicants. A Blade Runner is an assassin with a plastic badge, first and foremost. Many believe they caused The Blackout. Whether guilty or innocent no longer matters to those seeking revenge. Across the city they are hunted, lynched, exploited, and murdered as old hatreds erupt into open violence. ■ A Living World 🌎 NPCs have goals, fears, loyalties, ambitions, and secrets. They will remember your actions. Factions react to your decisions.
