About the adventure

Valendor, Home of kingdom Helaidria, named after the goddess of order and justice. While the rest of the world believes in magic and the blessings that it brings, Heladria finds it a repulsive and chaotic front to natural order. The goddess believes only Holy power should be used due to its purity, and that magic should not exist in the first place. Magic or the Arcane is dangerous and unstable. Time and time again magic has proved destructive by power hungry mages using the Arcane to cause terror and destruction. Kingdom Heladeria does not allow magic in their domain and never has once in its years as a Kingdom. This would be fine with the other kingdoms. So long as Kingdom Helaidria keeps to itself then there should be no problems. But, the hate that is held within the towering black stone walls of Heladria Stews. High Priest Allendroh, Prophet of Helaideria and King of Kingdom Helaideria has been given a grand vision by the Goddess herself. This vision was of a holy crusade, a war on the arcane itself. the visions told of victory. A seedling of war has been planted. Whether or not this seedling grows is still uncertain. The uncertainty brews from a group of arcane magic users and supporters who revolt against the beliefs of Helaidrian people, this group is called, The Beadron Rats. The Beadron Rats live in the slums of Helaidria Underneath the royal city bridges. The nobles and royalty named this area the Beadroh for the elven translation as a slum/disgusting area. The locals took to the name, upsetting the royals and dubbing themselves The Beadroh.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done during a free session zero on discord. Our starting level will be 5 and as far as 3rd party content goes, I am very lenient on what you can use. you can play whatever as long as I can review it. When thinking of your character get inspired by the Punk Rock culture.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you need to do is be prepared to join a discord. Everything will take place there.

What DM Drew brings to the table

As a DM I am very "go with the flow", "rule of cool" style of play. I love doing voices and playing immersive music. The gameplay itself will be a roleplay heavy game with a healthy dose of fun and interesting combat! I also completely homebrew the setting from scratch so I can seamlessly add your characters backstory to the story.

Homebrew rules

I am a rule of cool DM so I'm pretty loose with some of the rules but here are some specific modifications I like to use. 1, Max Crits: On a critical hit the base damage will be maximized and the bonus damage will be rolled. 2, Potion: When you use a heath potion as an Action you get the maximum amount of hp. When you use a potion as a Bonus Action you roll for the hit points.
