About the adventure

The slaves of Gonderif outnumber their ghoulish masters ten-to-one. Any slave brave enough to try and lead a rebellion is sent to the Undying Tournament, where they are "mercifully" promised freedom from slavery if they are the last prisoner standing. Of course, no one trusts this promise, but the insidious seed of hope has been planted in their hearts—there is a chance at freedom. You awake on the cold hard floor. Copper taste on your tongue as your head rings. The ringing slowly subsides as a thunderous noise can be heard in the distance. You can make out cheering and the stomping of many feet. Nearby chains rattle as several other humanoids are clasped in irons near you. A masked figure with two ghoulish guards kicks you entirely away. His mask seems made of white ivory that shifts and moves of its own volition. "I am Warden Su'mar," Its voice rasps out like wind through dusty pipes. "You are my latest guests with this fine establishment. Your first match is soon; you will be given gear at the door to play with the others. Do be kind and put on a show for me...." The thing's voice rasps out towards the end in jarring beats as if the creature is trying to laugh, but its idea of a laugh is a punctured windbag slapping a cat.

About me

Hi! We are Peach (Keeli Rae) and Grim (John), a married couple of DMs/GMs passionate about TTRPGs. Grim has been a DM for 24 years and has run Dungeons and Dragons from First to Fifth editions, Pathfinder 1st and 2nd editions, Vampire the Masquerade/World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk Red, and Aliens. Peach has been playing for about five years and running games for over a year. She mainly runs DND 5E. We can run Warhammer 40K for Glory Fantasy and Kids on Broomsticks. What should you know about us? We take time and care to prep for each session. We will customize each adventure with stories and plots to make our players' experience one of a kind. Do you like fantasy? Other worlds? History? Fan-Fiction? Heists? We got you. What about horror? That's Grim's Favorite! If you've got an idea, we can help it come to life to be played through. We are also happy to assist players in developing backstories for their characters throughout a campaign and will create custom quests based on those backstories. We love working with players of all levels, from the brand-new to the more experienced. We are also LGBTQIA+ friendly. Come hang out with us as we travel through worlds and adventures!

Character creation

Creating your character

Using Discord and Roll 20 5e Character sheets. I am open to dnd beyond just need a link to the character so I can proof it for mistakes. Mostly use charactermancer in Roll 20. Other Details for this game: Rules of the world: 1: Fumble and Crits are done via cards; i.e., on a Crit or fumble, I draw a card from my deck of crit or fumble. 2: Character Ability rolls are either 5d4, 4d6 drop lowest, or 1d20 take what you get. (formulas in the handout folder. 3: Home-brew is allowed to run it by me first. 4: New players start at level 8 currently. 5: Check out handouts for maps/basic D&D rules/ and NPC tidbits 6: Bar1(red): hp Bar2(blue ):passive wisdom Bar3(green) : AC 7: You can change your display name to be your character name in the options (cogwheel to the right of the screen, top right). 8: Do not worry about gear you will find that in game!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

just need discord and mic as this is how I communicate mostly. Please create characters ahead of time so there is a chance to go over it and it does not cut into playtime. Characters can be made via D&D beyond or the Charactermancer in Roll20. I also have a selection of pre-generated characters made if players wish to just jump right in or have a tough time making characters.
