About the adventure
Beyond the pages of the storybook lies a world where kingdoms, forests, monsters, and magic all share the same land. But these are not the stories anyone can remember. Happy endings are rare, villains are rarely born evil. Heroes, often wear the darkest crowns. This is a mature, dramatic retelling where you'll help shape what these legends become! Whether you step into the shoes of a familiar fairy tale figure, or completely reinvent a classic story, your choices will leave lasting marks on the world. The campaign is built around the player characters, weaving their ambitions, relationships, triumphs, and tragedies into the heart of the overarching narrative. The greatest stories are waiting to be written by you. My games are for players who love rich roleplay, memorable characters, emotional storytelling, and cinematic moments that feel worthy of a storybook. Expect meaningful choices-- personal character arcs, political intrigue, dangerous adventures, romance if desired, and a world that grows and changes because of your actions. Whether you're chasing your happily ever after or embracing a beautifully tragic ending, we'll create a fairy tale that could never have been told without your character at its heart.

About me
Hi! Willow, a storyteller and Game Master with about ten years of dice rolling, world building, and plot twisting experience. Most of which has been Play-by-Post. I run a wide variety of systems! Dungeons & Dragons, Godbound, Vampire: The Masquerade, other World of Darkness titles, City of Mist, and more; because I love matching the right game to the right group. I’m online and available 12+ hours a day through discord, which means I’m flexible, responsive, and ready to support you between sessions. My biggest passion as a DM is investing in my players’ stories: taking your ideas, characters, and wild theories and turning them into unforgettable adventures we build together. Whether you want high drama, fantastical vibes, gritty horror, or chaotic fun, I tailor each campaign to what excites you. When I’m not running games, you’ll probably find me absorbing inspiration from other media or painting in my spare time! Every game I run is crafted with intensive care, creativity, and a genuine love for collaborative storytelling. If you’re looking for a DM who listens, adapts, and brings your imagination to life, I’d love to play with you! Thank you for considerations, and may all your rolls be ever in your favor!

Creating your character
Character creation will happen before the game begins, with a short asynchronous Session 0 discussion to connect characters to the setting and each other. I’ll work with each player individually to help tie your backstory into the main plotline! We will begin at Level 3, allowing characters to feel capable and distinctive right away. Ability scores will use Point Buy or Standard Array (your choice), and advancement will be milestone-based. Official Wizards of the Coast material is allowed; if you’d like to use something outside of core books (such as specific supplements or light homebrew), just run it by me first. I prioritize balance and story cohesion over raw optimization.

What Sleepy brings to the table
The stories I love telling are the ones that belong to the players. Every character who joins my table matters, and I want each of them to feel like a true protagonist whose choices, struggles, and triumphs shape the world around them. Rather than telling a story *to* the party, I want us to build one *with* the party. I lean heavily into cinematic, emotionally charged roleplay and immersive storytelling. The importance in both quiet conversation, and a climactic battle months in the making, I want every scene to feel meaningful, memorable, and alive. I care about creating moments that players still think about long after the session ends! One of my favorite parts of being a DM, is taking the ideas my players bring to the table and helping them grow into something even bigger. Every character receives personal attention, with story arcs, relationships, and challenges crafted specifically for them. Those individual journeys aren't side quests, they become part of the heart of the campaign, woven directly into the larger narrative so the overarching story feels personal to everyone involved. Most importantly, I want my table to be a place where people feel excited to create together and happy to spend time with one another. Some of my favorite moments happen outside the dice rolls, when a group of strangers becomes a group of friends. Great adventures are built on collaboration, trust, and shared enthusiasm, and that's the kind of table I strive to create every time we play! And I hope to bring more people into even more stories! Posting 2-7+ times a day (per person!).
Homebrew rules
Drinking potions are bonus actions, I LIKE to do brutal tables/injuries but if that is something the table would prefer to not have, we can leave it at the door!

How Sleepy creates a safe table
We'll be holding a session 0 going over lines and veils openly, and I will be providing a Monte Cook consent checklist! Any worrying content you wish to discuss privately, I am happy to have that conversation as well prior to beginning!
