About the adventure
MINILUV is an 18+ Monsterhearts campaign based off of popular reality TV series Big Brother. Put your character in a house with other contestants, all vying to win the grand prize: a single wish. The thing is, you think you're the only one who's not quite human... Are you? This is an adult-oriented and LGBTQ-friendly campaign that will involve themes of romance, intimacy, and competition. (Don't worry - players who are "voted out" don't actually leave the game! And in reality TV, there's always a twist around the corner...) In between competitions (which will be decided with a combination of roleplay and dice rolls), we'll have socialization sessions where characters can freely interact in the house. What will you get up to? - Form alliances! - Backstab that loser! - Manipulate the voters! - Charm the (fictional) audience! - Sleep around! - Get sloppy drunk! - NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS! TIME TO WIN! Players who are looking for lighthearted fun and trashy drama are encouraged to reach out. All characters MUST be 18+. Safety tools will be utilized for player comfort.

About me
I don't use any generative AI in my games, nor do I approve the use of it by my players. I'm a human creativity-focused GM who loves to see my players flourish in a supportive and encouraging environment! I've been playing tabletop games since a friend introduced me to D&D 3.5e at age 10. Though these days, I prefer the simplicity of PbtA games, and the freedom that they give me to really dive deep into roleplay-focused stories. Monsterhearts is a dear favorite! I'm a writer, artist, and game designer by trade, with experience in the grotesque, the erotic, the romantic, and everything in between. I love to craft intricate worlds that my players can then interact with and change with their decisions. I'm disabled, neurodivergent, queer, and also very awesome and cool, which you may have already guessed. I'm accepting of all backgrounds, colors, and creeds in my games, as long as you're ALSO accepting! There's no room for hatred or bigotry at my table. I hope we'll be able to craft some amazing tales together!

Creating your character
Prior to Session 0, players will be given a selection of skins to choose from on Discord. There will be a channel in said Discord server to brainstorm with your fellow players. Come Session 0, we will finalize our playbooks and create the baseline personalities for all the NPCs that you will be competing against.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a Discord account that you feel comfortable getting on mic with. No video required.
What Naya brings to the table
In addition to providing game materials and safety tools, I am an artist who often utilizes my skills to bring a little extra to the table. You can expect custom art of your character (if time allows), as well as opportunities to interact with the world in all sorts of creative ways. I'd like YOU to bring to the table your best attitude and creativity! I never use generative AI in my games, and expect my players to follow this rule as well.
Homebrew rules
To accommodate the competitive nature of this campaign, some homebrew rules may crop up. These will be run by players to ensure a comfortable and fun environment for the whole table.

How Naya creates a safe table
In addition to sending out a Google form where players can preemptively describe their limits and triggers, I have Discord stickers available in my server to allow you to quickly say "me next," "hold up," and "stop the scene." Players are encouraged to use those or to verbally interrupt if a scene becomes too much for them. After each session, there will be a debrief where players can describe how they felt about the session and provide feedback when necessary (either at the table or through DMs).
