About the adventure

Each week's one-shot will cover a short quest where you can try out new characters or continue the story of a previous hero! The lore of this world is ever growing and I'm excited to include the ideas and histories of the characters you craft into this collaborative story! Each week previous members of the game will vote on the next quest they'll take on, so join now to have a say in next week's game!

About me

I've run 5e games for the better part of a decade, from years long campaigns with a core group, solo adventuress for friends, teaching new players by running a local TTRPG club, and over the last 3 years running a West March campaign for dozens of folks online and in my hometown. I deeply enjoy rewarding out of the box thinking and alternative solutions to combat, but I still love a good mutual beatdown! Clear communication is something I strive for in my own life and I will work with players engender an environment where they may each freely explore the wonders of TTRPGs!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation can be completed before session 1, or during session 0. Character's need to be approved by me as the GM, and should fit these parameters: - Ruleset: D&D 5e 2014 or 2024 - Build: Level 5 using Standard Array or Point Buy. - Hit Points: The first level, you gain your full amount. For following levels, take the average HP (half your hit dice total +1). Alternatively you can roll for HP with the group once the session starts. Starting gear: Based on your class in the PHB or relevant document - Resources: Most Wizards of the Coast published materials welcome, but be mindful this is a high fantasy setting. - Homebrew: If you have a homebrew request please let me know!

Safety

How Magdalena May creates a safe table

Prior to the Session, a Safety Checklist document will be shared with players containing options to label certain topics, forms of harm, or traumas as hard =-Lines-= (will not be shown, discussed or involved in the game) =-Veils-= (it can exist in the world of the game but should not be described or roleplayed at the table and remains off screen) or as something "Not for my PC" to keep certain things from being mentioned regarding, occurring to, or impacting your player character. During session my DMs will be open and any player is welcome to request additional breaks, a pause, or an immediate end of something bringing them discomfort. My highest priority is the safety and enjoyment of my players. If something would make you feel safer or more comfortable please let me know!
