About the adventure

"They told us the ancient machines we dug out of the earth would protect us. They were wrong. The sky bled red, the earth shook, and in a single night, the kingdom fell. We don't know if the King survived, and we don't know where the Champions are. All we know is that the castle is wrapped in a shroud of red malice, and the monsters are coming. Weeks ago, Central Hyrule was a bustling kingdom; today, it is a graveyard of smoking stone and rogue mechanical stalkers that hunt anything that moves." The rumors flying between the survival camps are terrifying. They say the Chosen Hero fell defending the retreating forces. They say Princess Zelda is still alive inside the castle, holding back the purple storm with nothing but her bare hands and a fading prayer, but no one knows how long she can last. The prophecies failed, and the grand armies are gone. No legendary knight is coming to save your village. If Hyrule is going to survive the winter, it’s up to the people left standing—the blacksmiths, the scouts, the squires, and the outcasts. Grab your pack. Draw your steel. The smoke is rising on the horizon, and the howling of Bokoblins grows louder with every sunset. You have a rusty sword, a hunter's bow, or perhaps just the heavy hammer from your family forge. But you are still here, standing on the edge of the wild, and the world cannot wait for a miracle. Who will you become? When the Blood Moon rises, and the monsters knock at your door, will you fade into the mist, or will you stand and carve out a new legend? Hyrule is dying. Get on your feet, pack your rations, and look to the horizon. The world is yours to save.

About me

|| ## ENGLISH ## || I love stories! I love to tell them, but I am even more interested in getting to know new ones. RPGs are a great way for people to connect, and share their stories while creating stories together! I mostly enjoy the collaboration aspect of RPGs, especially in our hyper-individualized world. We have the opportunity to hone our creativity, roleplaying, critical thinking, and many other life skills while having a lot of fun, and having fun together! My favorite games are narrative and/or rules-light in which players are encouraged to explore and develop their characters. With my teaching background, I'm experienced in active listening and facilitation, which eases conversations and understanding for everybody in the group. My goal is to build immersive worlds and create unforgettable experiences WITH my players. I run both one-shots and campaigns in many different scenarios from books, movies, TV shows, and anime. I'm excited to create memorable stories with you! Are you ready to dive into a world of our making? 🚨 I ALSO DO CUSTOM-REQUEST GAMES!! 🚨 Check my Games Played section, below. If any of those games interest you, MESSAGE ME, and let's make the game you want to play a reality! If you're interested in any of the games, but the time is not good for you, MESSAGE ME, and let's find a good time on your schedule! Character creation

Creating your character

🛠️ Character Creation Character creation will happen collaboratively during our Session 0, though we will brainstorm concepts together in Discord before the game begins, that is, if you don't have a concept already. Because Legend in the Mist is a narrative, fiction-first system, building characters together ensures the party feels like a true band of survivors with shared history in a shattered Hyrule. Here is what you need to know about how your hero is made: No Numbers, All Flavor: This system does not use traditional stats (like Strength or Dexterity). Instead, you choose Themes that describe your character (e.g., Local Blacksmith, Rito Scout, Disgraced Squire). Inside those themes, you choose descriptive Tags (like Heavy Hammer, Keen Eyes, or Unshakable Loyalty) that give you bonuses when they apply to the story. Starting Level: There are no levels in this system. Your characters will start as Rustic Heroes—ordinary people of Hyrule who have a trade or a background, but no epic powers yet. As the Calamity forces you to grow, you will improve Themes, transforming your commoner into a legend. Where We Build Them: We will create and manage the sheets on Foundry VTT. Whether you want to play a Zora artisan defending their waters or a Hylian farmer wielding a pitchfork against Ganon's forces, we will craft a character that fits perfectly into the wreckage of the Great Calamity. No prior system knowledge required!

What to expect
