About the adventure

The world ended in fire, but you survived. In Twilight: 2000 — Keep the Flame Alive, you play soldiers, civilians, wanderers, and survivors trying to endure the shattered remains of a war-torn Europe. Food is scarce, fuel is precious, trust is dangerous, and every road may lead to rescue, ruin, or something in between. This campaign is about more than survival. It is about the bonds formed under pressure, the people who keep each other human, and the fragile hope that refuses to die even after nations have fallen. Expect tense travel, hard choices, scavenging, firefights, moral dilemmas, and moments of quiet humanity around the campfire. The game will mix published Twilight: 2000 material with original adventures tailored to the party’s choices. Your decisions will matter: who you help, what you sacrifice, and how far you are willing to go to protect your people will shape the story. This game is for players who enjoy grounded post-apocalyptic survival, military drama, teamwork, tactical danger, and character-driven storytelling. Newcomers to Twilight: 2000 are welcome; bring a willingness to collaborate, embrace difficult choices, and fight to keep the flame alive.Provide your feedback on BizChat

About me

For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to the art of TTRPG storytelling, running weekly games for players of all experience levels. My philosophy as a Game Master is simple: I love creating cinematic, character-driven narratives where heroes aren't born, they're made. I thrive on guiding players from their humble origins to become legendary figures, ensuring every victory and every setback feels earned and meaningful. My expertise extends across a vast library of systems, allowing me to tailor the perfect game for your group. I am highly experienced in a multitude of games, including: Fantasy: D&D (all editions), Pathfinder, The Witcher TTRPG, One Ring 2e, Dragonbane, Cosmere, Legend in the Mist Sci-Fi: Starfinder, Star Wars FFG, Star Trek, Dune, Cyberpunk Red, Fallout 2d20 Horror & Mystery: Vampire: The Masquerade 5e, Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5e, Hunter: The Reckoning, Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green Superheroes & Modern: Marvel Multiverse, Masks: A New Generation, Kids on Brooms Narrative & Action: Blades in the Dark, Savage Worlds, Tales of Xadia, Avatar Whether you're looking to explore a classic fantasy world, navigate the neon-drenched streets of a cyberpunk future, or uncover cosmic horrors, I provide a professional, engaging, and unforgettable gaming experience. Let's tell a story that will be talked about for years to come.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done in session 0 as a group. All characters will be made using the Life paths method. This method lets you build your character by developing their backstory in detail, learning skills and specialties as you go along. This will create more fleshed-out characters, but also with more varied levels of competency. For anyone joining after session 0, I will work around their schedule to find a time to link up and help them make a character.

The current party

Character creation will be done in session 0 as a group. All characters will be made using the Life Paths System. Upon joining game, players will see a Discord link under prep materials. Once joining Discord server, myself or one of my mods will walk you to through getting added to the game chat for the game you have joined. VTT access and character creation will be done as a group in session 0, so that the party can be built as a group and we can find fun ways to link characters. Players joining a game after session 0 will have 1-on-1 paid session 0 with me to catch you up on the story, the party, variant rules being used, and help making a character and find a good way for them to be brought into the story that you are happy about.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you need is Discord, a computer, and a working microphone.

What Dylan brings to the table

VTT with player access at all times. I try my hand at character voices for all NPC's. I have catered music for every game, and players will be able to make requests of music for character moments. Players can expect tactical and immersive combat, as well as deep RP. As a veteran with over a decade of military service—most of it spent serving alongside infantry units—I bring a perspective shaped by firsthand experience with military culture, leadership, hardship, and the bonds forged between people facing difficult situations together. The themes of camaraderie, duty, and perseverance at the heart of Twilight: 2000 resonate deeply with me because I've seen how those connections can help people endure some of life's darkest moments. At my table, you'll find a living world where your choices matter, tactical challenges carry weight, and character relationships are just as important as firefights and survival. Whether we're exploring published adventures or stories of my own creation, I'll work closely with you to develop memorable characters, meaningful relationships, and moments of triumph, sacrifice, humor, and hope. My goal is simple: to create an immersive, player-driven experience that you'll still be talking about years from now. In a world where everything else has fallen apart, the people beside you may be the only thing keeping the flame alive.

Safety

How Dylan creates a safe table

All players will fill out a Lines and Veils sheet, and I will work with that for the campaign development. During Session 0 we will discuss Lines and Veils, along with X card safety tools.
