About the adventure
Leave the ordinary behind and take your first step into a world of amazing fantasy adventure with Pathfinder: Secrets of Grayce! This is an anthology of seven adventures; starting with the iconic beginner experience Secrets of the Unlit Star and continuing with the Troubles in Grayce set of sandbox adventures to form a definitive starter experience and introduction to the world of Pathfinder and online play using Foundry Virtual Tabletop. This product contains everything you need to learn how to play Pathfinder Second Edition on Foundry VTT, including rules to create your own fantasy hero and tools to tell your own incredible stories. Will you be a mighty barbarian, cutting down your foes in a furious rage, or a nimble monk, darting in and out of the fray with precise martial arts strikes? Maybe you'll choose a bard's music, soothing and supporting your party, or channel the ancient magic of your bloodline as a powerful sorcerer. It's all up to you! The Secrets of Grayce adventure anthology is the ideal way to start your heroic journey, reaching 5th level and leading into the epic-scale Bastion of Blasphemies (forthcoming later 2026) which can continue your tale to 13th level or beyond as you struggle against the grim curse of Bastardhall.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! My name is Ben, and I've been a professional Dungeon Master for around five years. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about myself before you join one of my tables. Before becoming a full-time GM, I worked as a chef. When COVID changed everything, I turned to Dungeons & Dragons as a way to stay connected with people, have fun, and build a community of like-minded players. What started as a hobby has grown into an incredible Discord community and a career that I genuinely love. My goal is simple: create a welcoming table where everyone can enjoy themselves while exploring exciting adventures, classic modules, homebrew worlds, and even entirely different RPG systems. Whether you're brand new to tabletop games or a seasoned veteran, I want every session to be memorable, engaging, and fun. Of course, every group has its challenges. I believe a good table thrives on respect and teamwork, so I maintain a firm but fair approach to party dynamics. My priority is making sure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the game and feel included. If you're looking for a relaxed, friendly, and well-run game where everyone can have a great time together, I'd love to welcome you to one of my tables.

Creating your character
To start, all characters will begin at Level 1. During Session Zero, we'll build your characters together from scratch using either The Forge's built-in character creator or Pathbuilder, whichever you prefer. This gives everyone a chance to learn the character creation process, ask questions, and ensure their character fits both the party and the campaign.

How ArcaneBenji creates a safe table
Creating a safe, welcoming, and respectful table is one of my highest priorities. Before the campaign begins, every player will receive a copy of my Lines & Veils document to complete privately. This allows everyone to establish personal boundaries before we start playing. During Session 0, we'll review expectations for the campaign, discuss table etiquette, establish character connections, go over house rules, and make sure everyone is comfortable with the themes of the adventure. During play, I use an open-door policy—if you ever need to step away, take a break, or message me privately about a concern, you're always welcome to do so. Players can communicate with me either verbally during the session or through a private Discord message if they would rather not bring something up in front of the group. I also use the X, N, & O Card system digitally. Players can type or message me: X to stop or skip content immediately. N to indicate they're becoming uncomfortable and would like the scene adjusted. O to let me know they're comfortable continuing. After each session, I like to spend a few minutes checking in with the group to see what everyone enjoyed, what could be improved, and whether anything made them uncomfortable. I believe open communication is the best way to ensure everyone has a fun, inclusive, and memorable experience. My goal is simple: everyone should leave the table excited for the next session and feeling that they were heard, respected, and had a chance to shine.
